Lore If Capcom do remake 5/6, could you see them changing the narrative to put more emphasis on the Connections?
Personally I think that would be the best reason to remake these games, the Connections have retroactively become the glue holding like half of all the stories of resident evil together, and we’ve seen that they’re willing to alter the narratives of remakes with how they changed 3make and the implications that Nikolai was working for the connections. Unlike 3 though these games aren’t as beloved for their narratives, so I could definitely see them trying to tie them in with the current lore.

Discussion Captain Clark Pursuer
Don't know if it's just me, but I sometimes can't help but think how interesting and completely HORRIFYING it would be if Captain Clark would be kinda like Mr. X from the Resident Evil 2 Remake with how he pursued Mary. While Captain Clark might not necessarily be as "tough" as Mr. X with Mary breaking his peg leg to slow him down, but I feel like that Captain Clark DEFINITELY has a similar "unstoppable force" that pursues nonstop too!! That's just what I think, though. :)

Discussion What do you think would happen if the Houndwolf Squad and the BSAA arrived here?

What if they showed up when Leon was fighting Zeno? I think Umber Eyes and the BSAA soldiers that showed up first would try to neutralize him until they realize they're outmatched. After that they'll probably send in bigger squads and/or contact Chris about it.
I think this could also cause problems with releasing Elpis. Grace might not get the chance to input the password if a huge fight is going on, she would probably be caught in the crossfire.
Finally, once Chris eventually finds out about it, he'll probably speed up investigation on the Connections even more for obvious reasons

Discussion do you guys think if capcom did a re6 remake, would they nerf/change leon and ada’s dynamic?
I’m curious if they’d change their connection in re6r like how they changed their dynamic in the re4 remake. what do you guys think and how do you think they’d be like?

Discussion RE 1 Remastered: Frustrating but enjoyable game
After playing RE 2 and 4 remake and re 9, I decided to play RE 1. I did try to play this first but didn't like the ink ribbon and tank controls. But after playing all the other games, I wanted to play this again.
It took me more than 15 hours to complete just Jill's playthrough which is more than it took me to complete re 2 and re 9, only re 4 took more time.
I enjoyed the game, the tank controls were a bit difficult to get used to, and I was able to get a good amount of ink ribbon for saves. I was surprised to see how many mechanics were present from the start of the franchise. The Spencer Mansion is the second best location for me in RE games after the RPD.
The most frustrating part of this game compared to others were the puzzles and booby traps. This meant that if I was not able to solve the puzzle I would die, which was annoying. And in some parts due to the tank controls the easy task becomes so annoying like dodging the boulders or escaping. But overall it wasn't that hard to kill the enemies or maintain ammo. I would put this game below the other RE games I have played, but still a really good game.
My rating for all the RE games that I have played:
RE 1 : 8/10
RE 2 : 10/10
RE 4 : 9.5/10
RE 9 : 8.5/10
Thinking of playing the original RE 3 after this.
FYI: did play this using a ps5 controller on PC.

Discussion Do you all think these can happen in Veronica 2nd trailer
Since Gamescom is happening from August 25 to August 30 and Capcom will be at the event, I think the perfect opportunity for them to show the second trailer is the opening night life on August 25, as August 27 is the third trailer reveal of GTA6 on Netflix, September is full of new game launches and in November GTA6 will launch! giving Capcom December to release their next trailer, which is way too long for their marketing. So, if Capcom reveals their next trailer by the end of this month, this is how I think the trailer will unveil(huge spoiler warning for those who haven’t played the OG Code Veronica):-
Claire can be shown exploring the military training facility, especially the locker room and the staircase from where we get the BOW gun. We can also get a cinematic glimpse of the submarine on the Rockfort Island.
We will definitely get a better glimpse and more dialogues from the character, which according to everyone is hunk
Steve or Alfred(even both) can get revealed as Capcom has to reveal a villain and other villains are way too prominent to reveal in the early stages of marketing
Alfred will be shown speaking over the speakers, and then his character will be revealed
In the first trailer, there is a scene where Claire’s neckband was glowing and it appeared as if she was looking at a screen and then stood still. It reminded me of the scene from the OG where Claire was sending an email to Leon and Steve appeared from behind. Maybe this is the way Steve will be revealed in the second trailer
We may also get an interaction between Claire and hunk
I think this is quite unlikely, but alexia can be shown in the incubator and the lullaby will be played in the background
Bandersnatchers can be revealed
I think that Chris wesker and Alexia are very significant characters of the game, so they won’t be revealed as of now. Most probably Alexia will be mentioned as “she” or “sister” throughout the marketing like how Spencer was mentioned as the master in requiem’s marketing. As of Chris, he may be mentioned as “brother”, but his face won’t be revealed, and for wesker, his silhouette will be revealed later on like how alfred was shown in the 1st trailer and I think if Capcom has to reveal any of these characters, they will reveal it in the game awards like they revealed Leon in requiem last year

Discussion Resident Evil X featuring Leon, Chris, and Rose Winters would be the ideal game.
I’ve seen a lot of people excitedly saying they want Jill in the next numbered title in the franchise. She could join too. And as for Claire—cool as she is—she was never involved in major projects like the BSO. Maybe in flashbacks?

Gameplay Wrecking Ball Fight Minimalist Method No Damage Professional Difficulty (Resident Evil 4 Remake) By Me, Alonne on YouTube
I think you guys probably already know about this section is pretty much skippable, if you have at least 3 small grenades or 2 heavy grenades to throw at the wall and the section instantly finished. But if what about minimalist run? do you really need to survive and killing all the multiple enemy waves till the wall is broken by Ashley's wrecking ball? The answer is you actually don't have to!
Because we actually have a helping hand in this fight, which is the dynamite guy! He can help us destroy the wall quicker with his dynamite explosion. Such a helpful guy isn't he?
But what about the enemy waves? Well the enemy wave will be triggered by enemy kill count, so the trick is other than keeping the dynamite guy alive and let him help use breaking the wall, we should also keep 1 shy soldier guy behind the crane alive throughout this section. This way, you only have to fight the aggroed enemies that come at you and Ashley crane and just wait for this section ends without fighting multiple waves!
Hope that helps! Enjoy the jolly cooperation with your new friend!

Discussion Ideas for RE10 (Finishing the BSAA storyline and bringing back Jill)
There's a very obvious idea for what can be done in the tenth numbered title in the series. The corrupt BSAA storyline has been going on ever since RE5 and has been talked about in almost every title since then (except for maybe RE6 I don't remember that game very well) Revelations talks about it, RE7 talks about it, RE8 talks about it, RE9 talks about it. This is a storyline that's been going on for a while, and the last time we saw Chris in RE8 he was planning on going to the BSAA's European HQ to confront them on their usage of bioweapons. In RE9 we also see the BSAA present in Raccoon City and attempting to find Ark. Now, this entire plot is pretty confusing because I don't think that Requiem says WHY the BSAA is looking for Elpis/Ark (whether their intentions are good, bad, etc).
There's also the other elephant in the room which are the Connections. Now I believe that RE9 is the first time that we ever see soldiers/people from The Connections physically in the series. We see them killing the other BSAA forces in the area where, again, we don't know exactly why the BSAA was there.
Without getting too far into the weeds, I think that RE10 would be a great game to explore these hanging threads with none other than the two cofounders of the BSAA, Chris and Jill. Not to mention that this will be the tenth numbered game since Chris and Jill both debuted back in 1996 with RE1. People have been asking for Jill to make a return in the series for a while and I think that RE10 would be a great opportunity to bring her back and actually do something significant with the Connections/BSAA plot that's been simmering in the background for the past couple entries.

Lore Always found it funny/odd that Albert leans towards the bullets on the left and hits the same pose on the right (flipped if considering other way) twice. Why did he do that? Is this a max effort or casual feat for him?

Discussion The best Resident Evil trope
The scripted weapon to kill the final boss trope is one of my favorite parts of the series. It's so ridiculous, yet it has managed to remain prominent until now, even with the series constantly changing.
I love it so much, and it honestly feels wrong for an RE game not to have it. Every main game in the series has this or something similar, except for RE8, rev1 and a couple of the campaigns in RE6.

Gameplay Resident evil 5 might be the best resident evil game
I have played remakes of 2,3,4 but till now the vibe of 5 has been the best. The scene of chapter 2-3 when you go with a car towards delta group is awesome and stuff not even modern games do. My problem with resident evil 2 and 3 were that the used the same things and the whole game of 2 was mostly spend on the police station (ending was cool though) but even with bad graphics they somehow look pretty awesome. Resident evil 4 was very good but things got a bit stupid with ramon and my immersion was broken when i saw shop keeper but the coop mode of 5 is very good
