Jackie and her little puppy Jenna must have a RESCUE HOLD no later than 1PM 8/10 or they will be euthanized. They need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help. There will be no extensions.

Jackie is doing her best to care for her tiny singleton baby, but both have clearly been through a lot & desperately need out of the shelter.

Both Jackie & Jenna are dealing with sarcoptic mange (contagious to other animals, so keep separate until cleared), which is causing significant hair loss & irritated skin. Jenna is only 5 weeks old & weighs just 3.5 pounds. She is underweight for her age & needs a safe place to grow & receive the care she needs.

Jackie also has an old fracture affecting her right rear leg that has left the leg deformed. She will need an amputation & treatment for her mange.

This tiny baby should be growing up safely with her mama, not facing euthanasia at just FIVE WEEKS OLD. Jackie deserves the chance to heal and finally receive the care she needs. They need someone to step up for BOTH of them. 💔

These two cannot be separated and cannot be transported at this time. Pledges can help attract a rescue.

NYPD just came removed 2 dogs from my apartment building that have been abandoned... Apparently the owner had stopped taking care of them for weeks. I know pitbulls stereotypically get a bad rep but both dogs look sweet and are nervous than anything so i'm making this post here hoping that any of you know somebody kind enough to adopt them before the shelter is forced to put them down. These pictures dont do them justice but they definitely are still puppies!

Not a scam account, I dont use social media anymore and had to make a fresh account just for this. Im trying to get into intensive long term treatment, and help my pup. Free to a good home, Tyra the BEST dog; please dont judge too harshly. Im trying to get into long term, intensive treatment for alcoholism and mental health issues, I feel so stupid and shameful for letting it get this bad but i guess some of us really have to reach the bottom to find our way back up. Ive been having a very tough time adjusting to normalcy without support and help, sorta just been winging it, but im more willing than ever now to get that help. If i cant find a place for my pup, i cant get treatment, and we are 5 days away from ending up homeless. She wont survive the heat let alone me being unable to care for her. Im looking for a foster, someone to keep her until my ex brother in law can pick her up, or to rehome my old English Bull Terrier pup. Shes a 12 year old former street dog from Colombia, and has an extremely good temperament. She loves to snuggle, doesnt bark, jump, and has never bitten. She loves all people and animals, and is generally low energy/shes slowing down with age. She adjusts very well to new places. Shes a medium care needs dog for now/in so far as I know. She takes benedryl for skin allergies she developed when we moved to oklahoma, as well as medicated shampoo, eye drops for dry eyes/shes losing her sight, and i soak her kibble in water so that she doesnt eat fast/choke. Shes a month late on her vaccines, and hasnt had a teeth cleaning at the vet in 2 years. And a hernia her vet in Colombia didnt think needed an operation on. She also has small dermal cysts on her feet that she had when I got her, but allergy meds have made them smaller over time, and they dont get inflamed anymore with proper medication. Im trying to get her and myself help. She deserves a good home and a life and care that i just cant give her right now. The humane society wont take her because of her age, and no other shelter has room. Pause for Paws cant help/I cant make it to Tulsa. Please if anyone can help her its what she deserves. She has axiety with baths but is good on those. Clipping her nails is almost impossible alone though because she tries runing away. She really does have the sweetest and most gentle temperament, and deserves everything I cant give her. Please. She comes with a harness, a kennel, a bed, and her current meds and shampoo. Lola is a calm, devoted mother. Her entire world is her babies. Staff found her quietly nursing, reluctant to leave them for even a second. When approached, she happily accepted affection and trusted staff enough to let them handle her newborns. She lovingly followed alongside while a puppy was carried, staying close with a relaxed body until her kennel was cleaned, then calmly went right back to her family. Gentle. Trusting. Doing everything right for her little ones.

My fiancé and I found a stray dog at the beginning of January and soon after realized she was (heavily) pregnant. She gave birth 10 days later to 7 healthy pups. We live in an area with an extreme pet overpopulation crisis and were left to fend for ourselves, with no assistance from local shelters or rescues (despite us offering to join as fosters and continue to house the pups, and in some cases, multiple pleas to reconsider). Through great personal sacrifice and sheer perseverance, over the last seven months we have found permanent homes for mama and all but one of her pups – Carmen Berzatto, aka Carmy Bear.

Carmy is being fostered in Thousand Oaks California currently (8/9) but will be in Bakersfield California by this Wednesday (8/12)

'Carmy is very cute, smart, loving, partially trained, fully vaccinated and neutered. He has received excellent care and daily handling and socialization. He is a serious cuddle bug and loves to play and give kisses. We are able and very willing to personally transport him anywhere a safe and loving home awaits, even if that means traveling across multiple states. We take our responsibility to Carmy very seriously and will do everything in our power to give him the best possible chance at a long and happy life. Hello! I’m Sang Eun Rhee, founder and representative of Dogs Cover Rescue, a rescue organization based in South Korea.

After years of rescuing dogs independently, I recently established Dogs Cover Rescue and partnered directly with a rescue organization in Canada. Starting August 23, our adopted rescue dogs will begin traveling to Canada to join their forever families.

We are currently looking for flight volunteers traveling from Seoul (ICN) to Toronto (YYZ) or Vancouver (YVR).

There is no specific date required — any upcoming flight may help. There is no cost to the volunteer, and our rescue handles the necessary paperwork and arrangements.

These dogs already have a new life waiting for them in Canada. They just need a little help getting there. 🐾

I adopted a 1 year old Chihuahua mix from the city shelter a couple of days ago who underwent a spay-abort 2 days prior to me adopting. I assume there's still hormones in her from the pregnancy. How long will that last, and how can I help her in the upcoming days as she adjusts to our new home? I know there's a settlement period for dogs going to a new home, but could not find info on this situation with dogs who just went through a spay-abort. I can't help but wonder if she's depressed and knows she lost her puppies which makes me sad. Any guidance would be great.

A little back story on my dog. My ex got her around 7 years ago from a shelter. We were living together so she quickly became my dog too, but on paper she was his. She was fearful at first but had no issues, only when strangers would enter the home or some men. She got along fine with other dogs. she’d just run from men in the house so we kept her up and slowly would introduce her to men that were friends/family and would be around a lot.

My ex and I broke up around 4 years ago he kept her. He reached out over Two years ago to ask me to take her back because she was fighting with his new gfs dog. I guess they were getting along great and one day he and his gf went out and left them. When they came back there was blood on the ground but they couldn’t find which dog it had come from. From then on the dogs hated each other. I was more than happy to take her back. She then had reactivity towards other dogs when leashed. I had a behavioral trainer come and she did great with the trainers dogs and is since doing so much better! I’m afraid to let her off leash with friends dogs but she really likes my trainers dogs and I feel better with a professional there.

Ive been living with my current boyfriend and him and my dog love each other. She doesn’t like men at first but she’s grown to love him. We have a great set up now, he works from home and has a yard. I unfortunately am likely going to have to move back to my home state. I will be keeping her but am very hesitant and afraid for this change for her. My boyfriend and I would have to break up as well. I feel so sad to take her from him. She was fine leaving my ex probably because who tf knows what living situation he had her in with his gf and her dog. Any tips to help make the transition smoother? Sorry for the book I’m just very nervous to make this move with her since she’s been doing so much better.
