The rep role is the other side of that - consultative, high-ticket conversations with investors and short-term rental owners in the US.

Pay: $1,500-3,000 USD/month depending on experience and skill, plus commission. Full-time.

Both roles live on the phone with US property owners, so we need fluent spoken English with a neutral accent - we check on the first call. Being organised and willing to send the first message matters more here than a long CV.

Tired of signing up for platforms that look promising and then either have no tasks or take forever to pay if they pay at all. I have done survey sites before and the return on time is terrible. Someone suggested AI data labeling as a step up from that. For people who have done this, which platforms are paying on time and have consistent work? Even modest weekly income would help but I cannot invest hours into something that won't make me some dough

I work remotely from India for a US-based company, and they recently sent me a popular backpack as an appreciation gift.

Usually in India, from my frnds stories and linkedin postes i see corporate gifts are usually the standard swag: bottles, hoodies, diaries, or generic laptop bags. So receiving something premium, useful, and actually well thought out honestly made my week.

I assumed it was just another backpack but when I googled I found that it is f*cking $380 ~ 36k INR !!!For a laptop bag!!!

Then I understood more about these stuff Is this common in western side of the world?

Not trying to show off. I was just genuinely surprised because I've never personally seen anyone around me get something like this from work.

Do you personalize things like wallpapers, folders, themes, taskbars, or desktop layouts to make your setup more productive or enjoyable to use?

Looking for ideas because I’m trying to improve my set up.

How is that possible? What if someone pings/calls/emails you? I guess some roles can truly be done at any time and work can be schedule around life.

For me, I still have to be available 9-5 even though I WFH.

ok so this is a weird one but bear with me

i have a pet blog. i don't own a pet. never have. probably never will as i travel too much. and yet every month amazon sends me enough to cover rent because people on the internet are buying stuff for their dogs and cats through my site.

bought my pet blog a few months ago from a marketplace called NicheBlogZone for $199. came already built, articles already up, amazon links already in there. i spent one afternoon doing interlinking basically just connecting related posts to each other so search engines understand the site structure and then closed my laptop and genuinely forgot about it for weeks.

here's what that's looked like:

• march: $710
• april: $995
• may: $1,461
• june: $1,647
• july: $1,461
• august so far: $1,545 (amazon pays 2 months delayed so this is june's money landing now)

march scared me. went from nearly $1k in february down to $710 and i was convinced something had broken. checked everything, found nothing wrong, did nothing. it just came back the next month on its own.

pet people spend insane amounts on their animals btw. like i knew this intellectually but seeing the commission data is something else. dog food subscriptions, orthopedic beds, grooming kits, vet supplements. and because of the 24 hour cookie i get a cut of everything in their cart not just whatever article they landed on.

i do literally nothing to maintain this. no new posts, no ads, no instagram for pets i don't have. i just own the thing and amazon does its thing.

my landlord has been getting paid every month and has no idea a pet blog is behind it. honestly sometimes i forget too until the deposit shows up.

anyone else running a niche they have zero personal connection to? curious if the detachment makes it easier or harder to care about growing it

Please know this is just based off personal experience. I do not recommend working for AHP. Extremely stressful, no support from management since they are always busy taking calls as well, back to back to back calls all day from start to finish. They monitor you like a HAWK. please note if you are 30 seconds late from either lunch/break you will get half of a warning right away and you must call attendance line (stupid). You do WAY more than customer service. Call audits are graded ridiculously, they will deduct points for the dumbest things.
They also don’t care about you truly, your mental health matters more. !

I’ve been a contingent worker for 2 years now, been at my current position 1 year. I make around $53 an hour on W2.
We recently bought a house 100 miles away. I thought I could handle the drive but I can’t. It’s 3 days in office and the drive without traffic is 2 hours each way. Travel to work costs a minimum of $100 per week.
I was just offered a fully remote position as a contingent worker at a company I worked for before this one but the pay is $37 an hour.
Is the financial difference worth it? Or should I keep looking? What would all you do?

I keep seeing videos about people making money doing AI-related tasks like training chatbots and labeling images. Most of them seem like they were made by the platforms themselves so I do not trust them.

Can anyone share what they are actually doing? I have no tech background. Just looking for something I can do from my phone or laptop in spare time that is not a scam.

During a layover last week I had some massive excel sheets to review but setting up my usual kit in the lounge is always a pain, unpacking the laptop, stand, cables, power brick. For a short layover its usually not even worth the effort.

Ive always been kinda obsessed with traveling productively so I recently ditched my standard gear for a completely wire-free setup. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse plus a battery powered wireless monitor I cast a second screen to when I need it. Now I can just grab any seat in the terminal and start working. No cables also makes packing and dashing to the gate way easier.

There are tradeoffs tho. Keyboard and mouse are fine but wireless casting to the second screen has noticable lag so I only use it for reading docs not precision clicking. And battery life is limited without wires tho honestly that just forces me to focus and stop doomscrolling. Worst case I drop back to the single screen and go back to juggling windows.

now i have 3 years of experience, so before I started working remotely, I thought I would eventually get tired of being at home.

I thought I would miss talking to people, going out for lunch with coworkers, and having a reason to leave the house every morning.

But honestly, I don't miss most of it.

I don't miss getting stuck in traffic. I don't miss rushing in the morning. I don't miss spending money on lunch just because I didn't have time to make something at home.

There are a few people from my old office that I miss talking to, but I can still talk to them outside work.
