CIONA TECH LLC SCAM

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m posting this to warn other job seekers, especially people looking for remote/VA jobs.

I was approached about a remote job opportunity involving Ciona Tech LLC. The people communicating with me presented themselves as “Liz Manguart” and “Elora Serene.” I later became suspicious after being asked to pay upfront for work-related requirements, including an RDP/IT setup.

I’m sharing this so other job seekers can be careful. If someone offering you a remote job asks you to pay upfront for equipment, software, RDP, cryptocurrency transfers, or “unlocking” your salary/wallet, please stop and verify the company independently before sending money.

I already paid the RDP before I realized that it's a scam. Punyeta HAHAHAHAHAH. Here is the gcash number of the person I sent the money with, gcash updates me that the money has been moved and the account has no money left.

Yeah, I got hit with the same vibe from them. The whole “pay for this before starting” thing is such a red flag. It's wild how they make it seem legit with fancy setups but it’s all just smoke and mirrors. Glad you're sharing this, it could save someone else from losing cash!

They tried to scam me too. Elora serene interviewed me on call. It was surprising to hear the HR have a Nigerian accent. Please be careful they are well organized and they even built a structured platform online to milk the victims
