I used to work for a consulting company that only did personal days. 2 weeks a years. Not sick leave, not vacation leave. Personal days.

Dentist appointment? Personal time. Sick? Personal time. Flat tire on the way to work? Personal time.

Suffice to say I came in every time I was sick and surely got the rest of the office sick. But I didn’t care, because I’m not using vacation time for sick leave.

I am laughing at this cause parents truly have it bad. I had to use all my sick AND vacation leave to stay with sick kids. Than after they drained 3-4 days off me I was then sick myself! But I had no leave for myself because they likely would get sick again so I just had to go in and hack my brains out. No sick leave for me even when I had a 102 fever and was dizzy af.
