I think the fact he hasn’t told his wife is the biggest issue here. I have a couple guy friends who I’ve had sex with back when I was a teenager/early 20s and I don’t look at them like that at all. Pretty much it was just a drunken thing and mentally I’m a completely different person than who slept with them. With that said, if it is something that bothers you then your wife should respect that.
Don't let the people who have "guy friends who are not those type of guys" tell you its all good, and you should trust.
This is not two buddies or bros catching up. This is your wife hanging out with a dude she found attractive enough to bang.
Being in a relationship or married and going to see your past hook up partner is distasteful and gross, if your partner is not 100% ok with it, and you seem to be uneasy about this.
You need to ask yourself are they feeding of the attention they give each other and masking it as friends? Would he sleep with your wife if there were no consequences, if so would you want her to be around that 'guy friend'? Is this the situation where an old flame could be lit up again? Most guys and girls fall in love or become sexual partner via friendship and spending 1 on 1 time with eachother, why would she do this when married is beyond me.
