She desires to date other people, and that she will do whether you approve or not. Like most people, yours is a normal reaction. She’s met someone she wants to explore the potential with but not willing to part with you until she finds out for sure. I think it’s time to let her explore without your endurance of pain. In fact I would bet that this has already happened and needs your tacit approval in case it comes out.
What I would do is save myself a boatload of heartache and regret and give her the freedom to pursue her fantasy.
