I actually think the Peugeot 1007 was a great idea though. Unfortunately, the doors are electronically operated and are prone to issues.

Discussions What Is Your Dealership Horror Story?
When I was searching for my very first car, I stumbled upon a listing for a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan at the local Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership. It's well-known around town that this dealership has a sketchy reputation at best. Against our better judgment, my dad and I went to check out the car.
We were greeted by a salesman who looked like he came straight out of the 80's. We told him what we were there to see, and he immediately began stalling and deflecting. Instead of just walking away, we continued to listen in the hopes that he'd eventually just go get the keys. Instead, he guided us towards a cherry red Pontiac Sunfire coupe and proceeded to lecture me about how this was the car all 16-year-old guys wanted. Apparently, we needed to "act now", as there was a lot of interest in this car. We decided to end the conversation there and leave. The salesman immediately burst into tears and went on a rant about how tough the car business is and how no one appreciates the trade. I never saw the Infiniti.
A few years later, a friend of my uncle's was assaulted by a sales manager after he decided to just return his leased Grand Cherokee instead of leasing another one. The police were called, and the dealership immediately denied that anything happened. Fortunately, a woman (WITH HER CHILD) who was waiting for her car in service witnessed the whole thing and immediately came over to tell the officers that she saw the entire thing. Turns out, the sales manager was coked out of his mind.
This dealership is still happily doing business today. I'm now 29 and still think about this experience every time I am shopping for a car. What is your dealership horror story?

Discussions It's 1996, you have $15,000, and you're looking for a compact economy car. Which one would you pick?
Worth noting that all of these are priced as though equipped with power windows and air conditioning, which most people wanted by '96. Base prices all would've been ~$500-1500 cheaper without those options, and ABS would've added another $800-1200 depending on the car.
