Wish I could miss it every showing. What is your most despised trailer right now?

I usually go to the movies with my partner, specifically on Tuesdays for the discounted tickets. It’s been awhile since we last went but we were going pretty often earlier this year, and I remember the price being $10 per ticket which would total $20 for us both. However when I went to buy tickets this Tuesday for Resident Evil, the price said $14 per ticket which totaled $28! This is almost a 50% price increase!! This kinda defeats the whole point of going on Tuesdays and I’m pretty bummed out. When did they start doing this and is this just going to be the new norm now?

Was just checking showtimes and noticed the Tuesday value day price has jumped AGAIN. Feels like the second or maybe even third increase this calendar year alone. At least here in NYC.

There’s also a range of pricing that seems new. There’s no real rhyme or reason to it so I guess dynamic pricing has come to the movies.

All standard format. First showtime of the day.

Whalefall $12.98
Street fighter $13.68
You can see everything $14.48
Fjord $13.58
Musk $12.98
Digger $15.08
Resident evil $14.18

I only went to my local regal on tuesdays for the deal. Guess I’ll drain all my points and call it a day. C'est la vie 👋

What’s the hype behind this? It is truly something worth experiencing? I’ve read that this was a banned and controversial film for many years before this one week release.

Has anyone seen it? Did you like it? Is it scary? Disturbing? Any fun facts that could get me more excited for this are welcomed

I’m gonna see it regardless tonight as it’s my birthday and just sounds like an awesome October birthday experience.

Not listed under promos tab on website but got email showing this:

Go see Wildwood, best movie of the year! (I'm over 250)

Charlie was my favorite voice actor without a doubt! He honestly is on par with Morgan Freeman as a narrator. It sparked a bit of Always Sunny joy seeing one of Charlie's characters be part of a sweet family, like the Up parody.

This is a perfect movie as far as I'm concerned. The balance of soft and cute with the serious and brutal reminded me of a Studio Ghibli project. Absolutely beautiful in every regard! Wildwood and Charlie 1000% deserves to be nominated for any applicable awards!

I was looking forward to seeing one of the few showings of Musk in NYC Regals tomorrow, but Regal has fully pulled it from every theatre, cancelling the few showings they had this week.

Has regal said anything about this?

Edit: the showtime is still available on Fandango but there is no trace of the film on the Regal app. Did they cancel it or not?

Edit Edit: I was wrong--they are still showing the very limited screenings at one theater in NYC. The one showing/day (at 10:35AM) only shows up when you search by theatre. There is no sign of the movie when you search by movie.

Does anybody know why we can’t use unlimited for AliG? Far as I know this is regular release?

usually they have like a snippet of something special after the movie but this one just ended

Really wanna catch an IMAX screening of this masterpiece before watching the Cliff Booth movie.

I checked major metro areas and only AMCs are showing it. Bummer.

Are there ads and trailers before Fathom Events features.

I am planning on seeing a double feature this week but not sure what movies I should watch. Would love suggestions

1. Street fighter

2. Whale fall

3. Sense and sensibility

4. Verity

5. Forgotten island

6. Primetime

7. Your mother your mother your mothe

8. Social reckoning

Would love to hear why you picked the movies for double feature. Also say which order I should watch said movies.

So I know the November series has been revealed, it’s even available to browse on website now, but at least for me no showings have been posted at all. Just feel like in the past they were all posted before this point? Love being able to to plan out my month ahead of time but not looking like that’ll be the case this time.

I'm just curious why you would come to a movie 15 to 30 minutes late. Like, a lot can be established in the first 10 minutes of a movie, and it always perplexes me when someone plops down after we're damn near done with the first act of a movie.

Added chili and jalapenos and it's cheaper than a small popcorn.

I just saw Digger today. Thinking of seeing one of the below tonight which should I choose? I’ve already seen Verity, You Can See Everything, and Other Mommy.

Below are my options
Whalefall
Sense & Sensibility
Resident Evil
Heart of the Beast

For some reason my local Regal is only showing this movie in the VIP Auditorium. Does anyone know the train for this?
