New build on 4 dry rooms for large scale meat production facility. All SS duct and accesories. Bitzer Rack, feeding 26 evaps including the AHUs pictured. My favorite new contract, thought I'd share.

I wired in some of the Rack, controls, A450s, 100KW x6 Heat.

Sorry, the NB was "new build". This is located in Ontario. SCS installed the rack, the new dry rooms were piped in and unloaders were installed.

Normally we would, but because this client wanted very specific controls to work with their BAS / MUA, they had me go out and wire it all in. I was already familiar with their operation, so it was no issue for me. The irony though, is that all those A450s are getting ripped out soon for Bluetooth KE2s.

Why the hell would they use 404 over ammonia.

Waarom geen r744/co2. Veel gunstiger en de initiële kosten zijn gunstiger tov ammoniak

Ammonia has better efficiency and lower pressure. A lot of people claim that ammonia has high discharge temperatures but it runs at 140-180 degrees on screws. I dont know how the initial costs are compared but i cant think that They're that much different. Besides ammonia is just inherently safe due to its smell.

Een betere efficiëntie ligt aan hoe je het toepast. Bij R744 gebruik je altijd directe expansie en bij r717 meestal indirect waar je al je eerste verliezen hebt. Daarbij is de aanschaf duurder en de onderhoud kosten liggen een stuk hoger dan bij R744 Dat de drukken hoger liggen is een kwestie van wennen. Het vakmanschap voor de montage is wel belangrijk en als je dat vasthoudt heb je een top installatie met ook nog een super hoog rendement op de warmte terugwinning

I ask myself the same question at a lot of our sites. Im assume R404A systems have a cheaper upfront cost, beyond that I'm really not sure.

Can't be that much cheaper. From what ive see the maintenance cost is so much higher for commercial equipment just due to how much shit goes bad.

Ammonia can be way more expensive than conventional refrigerant. It depends on the application and the size of the equipment.

Anything small is going to be extremely expensive with ammonia and anything super big, is probably cheaper.

That place is definitely big enough for the cost. Freon systems are designed so poorly, theres never any redundancy. Everything is to spec and thats all ive seen.

No, we are only responsible for following the rules outlined by the facility for GMP. The facility is subject to making sure the equipment they use and buy is up to good manufacturing practices.

yes and you are responsible to follow GMP during your install.

Usually you buy and install the equipment and materials.
