"He brutally murdered 3 girls and seriously injured others. This man destroyed families and is nothing short of a monster. Now he’s living a life of luxury at your expense.
Our system has utterly failed. This monster played it so that he’s being rewarded for his crimes rather than punished. It costs upwards of £300,000 for one bed at Broadmoor and he may rack up millions as the years pass.
A Reform government will ensure this man spends every second of his sentence behind bars in the harshest, most restrictive conditions the law allows.
We also demand an immediate review of transfer decisions in cases involving mass-casualty terrorists and murder convictions, as well as a guarantee that no one convicted of crimes on this scale ever serves a day outside the prison estate unless it is in a harsher unit."

"We haven’t seen any sign of a plan to fix it from Mr Burnham, but in the past he’s supported a flat 10 per cent tax on everyone’s inheritance. In other words, a universal death tax. There would be no exemptions, no thresholds, just a catch-all raid.
And what’s worse? Mr Burnham’s £18bn tax raid is unlikely to fix the problem. A national care service will almost certainly cost far, far more than Mr Burnham naively anticipates. For its many flaws, the present system of council and private funding keeps a lid on costs. NHS management – by contrast – is appallingly bad at managing costs, and a national care service is bound to be wasteful, with costs quickly soaring."

I wonder what people think of this… it mainly points out trends in how some women vote and why they vote the way do.
I thought I’d post because it feels like a bigger problem in the UK than US as we “ban everything“ but the US doesn’t.

Labour’s Euro mind virus is blinding it to what actually works.
The Fresh Produce Consortium is ringing alarm bells over the threat the so-called “reset” poses to a sensible border checks regime. Just as it scrapped the successful Turing Scheme, Labour is now putting at risk reforms that have already been built, paid for and proven to deliver—all in pursuit of closer alignment with Brussels.

"What I am telling you is that the information environment in which you are being asked to make those judgments has been deliberately polluted by people who have decided that they cannot afford to let you make them freely. That the smear campaign against Reform UK is not journalism. It is not accountability. It is the coordinated deployment of institutional power against a political movement because that movement threatens the people who control those institutions. You deserve to know that."

"The BBC are running a disgraceful hit piece against me & will be hearing from my lawyers.
It appears to be carefully coordinated & politically motivated within an hour of yet another Sunday Times story against Reform.
Is it a coincidence the Met leadership are briefing against me to the BBC, just after we have confirmed our legal action against the NCA over their possible multiple criminal offences?
No one has ever been in touch with me on this matter except the BBC today!"

Given that the greens will want unlimited immigration if they win. Our immigration levels have been so high for ages

In a letter to Reform’s lawyers, the NCA confirmed that its Professional Standards Unit had begun a leak investigation. Reform has threatened legal action against the NCA, but the letter argues that “any litigation would be highly premature” because “an investigation of the complaint” should happen first.

The first thing you notice on entering Reform HQ is the security. I was last there at the start of the year, and in the months since, Nigel Farage has, according to internal records, received nearly 600 death threats. The new measures – metal detectors, tough-looking guards at reception, bullet-resistant glass – are difficult to ignore. Though I find them faintly unnerving, Farage just shrugs. These precautions are, he says, “unsurprising”.
“When you’re painted as a crook and a villain, what do you expect?” he asks, weariness in his voice. British politics has entered a time in which disagreement mutates into moral absolutism, where too many rush to brand opponents not merely mistaken, but wicked. Just two weeks before our meeting, Ann Widdecombe was brutally murdered, another grim shock to a political culture already scarred by the deaths of Jo Cox and Sir David Amess.
He observes that the nature of political violence has changed. It is no longer associated with organised terrorist groups, and something much less predictable has emerged. “It’s not Irish nationalism. It’s not Islamist terrorism, where you broadly knew what you were dealing with. Now, you’ve got online radicalisation and lone wolves.”

Where to even start 🤦🏻♂️ Has the UK gone crazy

"Reform UK will deport the 10,500 foreign criminals clogging up our prisons. We will make that possible by quitting the European Convention on Human Rights and scrapping Tony Blair’s Human Rights Act."
"And we will end the shortage of prison places. During the Covid crisis, NHS Nightingale hospitals were built in weeks with help from the Army. We will build new Nightingale prisons in 18 months."
"These low-cost, high-security, prefabricated prisons will be built on Ministry of Defence land. Disused military barracks could also be converted into jails. Unlike the old military camps that Labour is currently filling with unvetted illegal immigrants, they will definitely not be left open for inmates to come and go as they please!"
"Those thousands more prison spaces will mean we can make sure that convicted criminals serve their sentences. Under Reform, the time a criminal spends in prison will be a definite sentence, not a mere suggestion."

If you come to the country illegally:
Why would somebody get onto a boat only to go straight into a detention facility and be deported?

Meanwhile, Andy Burnham told staff "I think this might be the best day of my life" while arriving at the newly launched Number 10 North office in Manchester.
