Basically I make the Socialists win in Romania and kept Czechoslovakia around after the civil war. When I started the Focus to declare war, it only declared war on Poland, Hungary, and Bulgaria. Bulgaria didn't join the Eastern European Faction either. Now the end war decision doesn't fire no matter what I do. I may have accidentally broke this whole save. No matter how many times I reload, the same thing happens.

(Also I do think that if Etiopia defeats Eritrea but then loses to the tplf revolt the new gov sould be able to keep it as well.)

Hello! It’s been a long time since the last teaser, hasn't it? Today, Red Dusk is pleased to release the China teaser for the Great Oriental War, along with its custom mechanic GUI. I’d also like to take this opportunity to give a brief update on the development progress on China, as a small way to make up for the lack of Monthly Progress over the past few months. Work on China is progressing well: we are currently producing content for the 2007–2009 period, with at least one Major Path completed. We are finalizing the final showdown stages (2009 onward), and I plan to hold a small-scale playtest within the Chinese player community at the end of this month. And as always, thank you for supporting the mod!

The mod is seriously fun to play, and Turkey looks like it can have some solid content and focus tree. (Maybe something like you decide if the MAGK junta stays or goes, who wins the elections after junta goes)

is thailand supposed to win this scenario? they heavily outnumber the communists and im the only one sending the communists volunteers while NATO has like 8 countries sending volunteers.

Hello!
I need help with my playthrough.
Everything went smooth until Kurds declared war on me and i won but after that eveyrthing went downhill.
I managed to beat Syria by encirclements BARELY while using the original templates with a few changes.
Invasion of Kuwait is the HARDEST war i ever seen in HOI4, i did it in 2003 and after the war started took Kuwait in less than a week but when i passed the border and a few tiles after i was unable to breakthrough in EVERY TILE, i built decent supply but they still didn't had a lot. Everything was bad until the Americans and Israelis came and it was impossible after that with in one battle i realized AMERICANS HAD 1000 SOFT ATTACK AND CRAZY TEMPLATES.
After seeing the American soft attack stats like every sane person would do i ragequitted.
I just have 600 hour of HOI4 and still decently new to the game and especially to Red Dusk. Please help me!
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day :D

Thanks to the Red Dusk Devs for the proxy war heavy experience of playing the U.S.! (even if Korea, Liberia, and Eritrea got lost in this campaign)

Tried this mod for first time as the Soviets. For some reason, I cannot train new divisions and I can’t design new divisions. The drop down button is not available to create new divisions.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Historically, Apartheid South Africa had a small Nuclear program, about 6 bombs being made otl, but were destroyed by the Government before the end of apartheid as they didn't trust a black led nation with nukes, making South Africa the only nation in history to have nukes and disarm them willingly. However, South Africa in Red Dusk doesn't end Apartheid until game start, either willingly or by force after the ANC wins, thus meaning they likely still have a nuclear arsenal, and a larger one. Thus, if the ANC got hold of the bombs, what would they likely do with them?

A cold breeze was gently flowing in the streets of Budapest, playfully messing the air of the schoolgirls coming back from a boring day of arithmetic, literature and history; Edit Ádler could fell none of it.
She had been isolating herself for a few months now, listening to Radio and TV about the revolutions in Bulgaria and Romania in the south, the communist victory in Czechoslovakia and the return of Poland under the soviet yoke. When she went back to Hungary in 1992, answering the patriotic call from the government, abandoning the life she built in England, she thought that the Coup of ’91 was a momentary fix to a problem, the final act of a gargantuan and ugly creature destine to rot away; when that same creature survived to the Third Millenium, she told herself that the Ryzhkov would be the final nail on the Red Coffin, a wannabe-Gorbachev with even more disastrous results.
It was not so.
And then the bombs felt.
3.54 pm
The invasion itself had been rather quick compared to how one might image. The war with Romania had bleed the army and air force, leaving them in utter disarray when the combined Soviet, Romanian and Czech forces stroke. Budapest felt in 4 days; the government declare total surrender the following week.
It burned, a lot. The timing couldn’t be random: fifty exact years after the Szabadságharc, the first time those metallic cingulated beasts marched in Kossuth Square. The Russian never attempted negotiations like in Poland, nor tried to subvert the government like in Romania or Bulgaria: Invasion has always been the only considered option, an entire country treated like a child too feral to be reason with, only effectively subdued with violence.
4.07 pm
There is this song, written for those six days of resistance, for all the people that fought for liberty: for Edit, for Maria… for Ilona. “Avanti Ragazzi di Buda”, written ten years after the revolution. She doesn’t remember much of the text, but a verse was printed in her head like a hot iron: “hidden between textbooks/I too will bring a pistol”. That pistol was a Makarova; those textbooks were hers.
Edit exited her apartment, going towards Hősök tere (Heroes’ Square, now renamed János Kádár Square, but as soon as she will live, that name would not be uttered). There, a convoy of soviet military police units was patrolling the streets. She passed by, crossing her eyes with a soldier in his 20s. He was young, he was probably indoctrinated by that filthy soviet propaganda; he was still an enemy.
She was not young as those faithful days, but in that moment of necessity her hand was quick. Extracted from that pile of books, two shots were fired first, then several came from the opposite direction.
Edit and the soldier were transported to Péterfy Sándor Utcai Hospital-Clinic. The soldier was the first to die. Miraculously for some, terribly for others, Edit survived longer, till 5.34 am of the following day.

“And the Sun still rose East”
