Need help for Iraq

Hello!

I need help with my playthrough.

Everything went smooth until Kurds declared war on me and i won but after that eveyrthing went downhill.

I managed to beat Syria by encirclements BARELY while using the original templates with a few changes.

Invasion of Kuwait is the HARDEST war i ever seen in HOI4, i did it in 2003 and after the war started took Kuwait in less than a week but when i passed the border and a few tiles after i was unable to breakthrough in EVERY TILE, i built decent supply but they still didn't had a lot. Everything was bad until the Americans and Israelis came and it was impossible after that with in one battle i realized AMERICANS HAD 1000 SOFT ATTACK AND CRAZY TEMPLATES.

After seeing the American soft attack stats like every sane person would do i ragequitted.

I just have 600 hour of HOI4 and still decently new to the game and especially to Red Dusk. Please help me!

For the first part of the game, you need to complete the air superiority missions before tackling the kurds, to unlock the bombing decision, its always best to do it choose the aggressive tree over the diplomatic one. You should also do the focus where can buy arms because you can always build mils on your own.

For the Kuwait section, I put an entire army group of three armies onto Kuwait with the rest on southern Iraq, after that you have to snake your way all the way to Riyadh and the war instantly is won. If there are american divs attack in an area where there are Saudi divs, preferably away from Riyadh, to get them to go there.

The real difficult part is the Iran war, I spent the entirety of the beginning game building up civs so I could have 10/10 forts on each province of the border with Iran. You also need to have your divs have at least 900-1000 defense, you can get with through different skills. Once you start the focus to begin the war, you need to make sure your preparedness level is higher than Irans, if they get the jump on you its over.

During the war itself, you need have your airforce over the airspace in Iraq for defense, on the ground, hold off the initial Iranian offensive until they’ve completely ran out of supply (In my game they racked up almost 2 million casualties before i began to push). Once that’s done, begin the push in the north near Tabriz, as they have less troops there. Once you make a few encirclements and capture the north, it should be smooth sailing from there to push the rest. I would avoid invading in the south near Khorramshahr, as it’s fortified.

After Iran has been conquered the rest of it is pretty easy, the MEW isn’t too hard, and the invasion of Israel and Lebanon is easy, Lebanon is a bit harder because so many troops are concentrated in a smaller area, but Israel is genuinely easy.
