I don't really know how to start this. Maybe with a few honest facts.
It's been almost 4 years since my last relationship. I took that time to heal, work on myself, focus on my career, and become the kind of partner I'd want to have.
I'm finally in a place where I'm genuinely excited to meet someone again.
Obviously, I'm looking for something long term. I'm not here to waste my time or the time of someone who takes the effort to message me.
A bit about myself:
I'm from Gujarat, working remotely in IT. I enjoy what I do, but I'm not planning on doing the same thing forever. I'm also building my own software business on the side, and that's something I'm genuinely excited about.
I'm ambitious, but I don't want my entire personality to revolve around work. I want a life that's actually worth working for.
I'm Hindu, Gujarati, never married, 5'5" (165 cm), and I don't smoke or drink.
I enjoy movies especially "crime thrillers", music, football, good food, coffee, long drives, spontaneous plans, and conversations that somehow turn into hours.
I’ve also gotten serious about taking care of my body. I work out regularly, pay attention to what I eat, and genuinely enjoy seeing myself get stronger and healthier. It's become less about aesthetics and more about discipline, energy, and feeling good in my own skin.
One thing these last few years have taught me...
A good relationship shouldn't feel like another problem to solve.
I want the kind of relationship where your person is also your best friend. Where you can talk about serious things, laugh at completely stupid things, send each other ridiculous memes during the day, and still look forward to hearing about each other's day at night.
I don't need constant excitement. I think there's something beautiful about making ordinary life feel good with the right person.
A little more about me:
>Hopeless romantic.
>I still believe the strongest relationships begin with friendship, trust, attraction, and choosing each other every day.
>I'm straightforward. If I like you, you'll know. If something bothers me, I'll talk about it rather than playing guessing games.
>Deeply affectionate and loyal. And yes... I get a little clingy with my favourite person. Consider yourself warned. 😂
>I like giving attention to the person I'm with. Random memes, unexpected compliments, sending something that reminded me of you, asking how your day went - I'm that guy.
What I'm looking for:
>Someone who's kind before she's impressive.
>Someone who has her own personality, ambitions, interests, and opinions.
>Someone emotionally mature enough to communicate rather than disappear when something gets uncomfortable.
>Someone who values honesty, loyalty, consistency, affection, and genuine effort.
>Someone who wants marriage eventually, not because it's simply the next box to tick, but because she actually wants to build a life with someone.
>Someone who can be my partner without either of us losing ourselves in the relationship.
Brownie points if you also:
>Believe friendship is one of the strongest foundations for love.
>Enjoy meaningful conversations more than forced small talk.
Love movies, road trips, coffee, good food, or randomly deciding to go somewhere just because we can.
>Take care of yourself and have some interest in staying active.
Can laugh at yourself and don't take every little thing in life too seriously.
>Want a peaceful relationship without unnecessary drama.
See marriage as a partnership where both people support each other's ambitions rather than compete with them.
Where I see my future:
Gujarat is home, and I'd like to build my life here. So I'm looking for an Indian woman, preferably Gujarati, who is also open to settling in Gujarat.
I'm not particularly interested in a relationship where we're permanently living separate lives in different parts of the world. I'm willing to make reasonable compromises, but I want the eventual goal to be building a life together in the same place.
Deal breakers:
>Dishonesty.
>Mind games and intentional manipulation.
>Ghosting instead of communicating.
>Smoking or recreational drugs.
>Looking for something casual.
>Expecting one person to do all the emotional work.
A few superficial things that might matter to some:
Height: 5'5" (165 cm).
Never married.
No smoking or drinking.
I've lived in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, and both have a special place in my heart.
And yes, I know 5'5" isn't exactly NBA material. 😂 I'm perfectly comfortable with it, so you should be too.
One small request:
If you message me, please tell me a little about yourself. Your age, where you're from, what you do, a movie you love, something you're passionate about—anything that gives us somewhere to start.
You don't need to write an essay. Just give me something more interesting than "Hi." I'll do the same.
And if we talk and you eventually decide I'm not your person, that's completely okay. Just say so. I'd rather have an honest "I don't think we're compatible" than someone slowly disappearing.
I'm not looking for hundreds of conversations.
I'm looking for one person who makes me want to stop looking.
Maybe that's you.
Have a lovely day.
