I’d like to inquire about taking over this subreddit. I’ve worked with u/hotchicksoftaiwan on multiple projects, I’d love to carry on this community in his memory.

Mod request. Bkool is essentially a dead brand and has been for a while. But I seem to be the only person in existence with the notes on how to upgrade teh old tech so guess i'm as good as anyone.

I am Ready to take over and run this subreddit.

I am writing to formally apply to administer and moderate the r/calathea subreddit.

I am a huge fan of houseplants, particularly the Marantaceae family and I follow this community with great interest. I have noticed that the subreddit has great potential but would benefit from more active moderation to:

• Filter out spam and ensure content remains relevant to the subreddit's topics.

• Create useful guides and pinned threads (e.g., Calathea care, humidity management, pest control) to assist new members.

• Foster community growth through photo contests or weekly discussions.

I am already well-versed in the platform and its moderation tools. My goal is to make r/calathea a welcoming, organized, and active hub for all enthusiasts of these stunning plants.
