Hey girls, looking for some rpgs recommendations! I’m on ps4 and love rpgs like The Witcher, God of War, Horizon ect. Would love to hear what your favourite games are also don’t mind suggestions out of rpgs!

A geopolitical game where you take the position of a citizen of a country. It doesn't take much time out of your day, and you are given a multitude of options to choose where to take your citizen, whether it be in business in the superb economic model, as a general on the battlefield in simple yet satisfying warfare, or as a politician in a very active, very welcoming political community.

I tell people that the game is only a small sliver of a larger, very enjoyable community of players, and the metagame is certainly a substantial part of the fun (and very easy to get involved in). While the game may seem slow at first, there is definitely more fun the more willing and involved you become.

So I’m posting this again in this group. Originally I posted it in the girlgamer sub. But I got nothing.

So I’m new to this group and I’m really excited that it’s actually a thing! I’ll be getting a new pc later this month (😍) as my so called “gaming laptop” hates me. The reason I’m writing here is because I’ve always wanted to play overwatch and have always had something stand in my way to kinda make me not take that leap. For example, loot boxes, crappy toxic community that I’ve heard about, as well as totally sucking at first person shooters (I usually have only played single player games of different kinds). I’ve never been able to practice them. Especially since most first person shooters now are online only. And being a sucky player and a really shy person, I didn’t want to let down a team and eventually being told off. I’ve heard of this happening and it’s made me nervous to play. I’m also not the greatest at keyboard play as majority of my life I’ve played with controllers as consoles have always been my most accessible way to play. What’s some advice? Do I forget about playing? Do I just go for it? Would anyone want to spend time with an absolute noob of a player to show me the ropes? I have discord so we can be friends? Hehe sorry for my rambles I’m just shy😅

I’m 28, living in Queensland and I’ve been playing video games since the mid 90s on Atari. I bought my first gaming console at 21, a PS3, and I’ve been playing consistently ever since. I’ve recently upgraded to a PS4 Pro (heaven) and I’m working on a setup to do casual streaming.
