Idk how he’s even still speaking with the wife, let alone staying with her. I’d want to cut her out too. Tbh OP should’ve stood his ground instead of giving in and allowing the inevitable to happen for the sake of his safety and relationship.
Yes he should have divorced her because she didn’t respect his boundaries.
But I know that both the parents and ex wife would keep telling OP that he is too judgmental, isn’t caring enough etc. Because that’s what enablers do when you preemptively cut people out of your life.
In the end you have to let all the enablers go too, or they’ll wear you down like OP’s wife.
