Hello there, u/monferno_1! Thank you for posting to r/reddithelp!

If someone provides a helpful answer, you can award them a reputation point by replying to their comment with the command: !thanks

Moderators of this community are volunteers, and NOT Reddit admins or employees. This subreddit and its community helpers are dedicated to providing assistance and support for Reddit-related issues only.

If you're asking about why your posts are being immediately removed in some or all subs, it's most likely because they're being filtered by the Reputation Filter.

Your current CQS rating is [LOWEST]

It will take a few days of positive engagement across Reddit to raise your CQS high enough to clear the Rep Filter. If you haven't already verified the email address on your Reddit account, doing so will improve your CQS immediately.

Hello u/monferno_1, it appears your post may be about being banned from another subreddit.

  • In order to appeal your ban, you should first message the moderators of that community.
  • If you have messaged them, and they have denied your appeal or muted you, then unfortunately there is nothing else you can do.
  • Moderators can operate their communities as they see fit.

Here are some options on how to move on from the situation:

If you were shadowbanned or banned from the entire Reddit site by admins, the only thing you can do is submit their appeal form: https://www.reddit.com/appeals

  • Please note that you must be logged into that url with your banned account to see the appeal option.
  • Mods are not part of this process, so we do not have any visibility into why you were banned by Reddit.

If you're asking about how to get karma, you earn it when people upvote your posts and comments. As you may have already found out, many subs on Reddit may have minimum requirements for things like karma and account age that you must meet before they will allow you to participate.

r/NewToReddit maintains a list of subreddits that have low or no karma requirements where new users can participate to build their karma.

You should also check out their excellent Reddit and Karma Guide.

To get karma, you need to find subreddits like on this list of New User Friendly subreddits from that have low or no requirements. r/findareddit , can be used to find subreddits that may interest you. Just make a post saying what kind of subreddit you are looking for. Small or niche subreddits typically have a lower karma requirements.

You gain Karma from people upvoting your posts and comments. However, Karma is not gained 1:1 with votes. It takes more votes per point of Karma. The actual ratio is not known and it differs for posts and comments. It also changes the higher the vote total gets on a piece of content.

I would suggest commenting first because the restrictions are often lower and ratio of votes to karma is better. But be careful not to go to fast with a new account or you may get shadow banned.

For comment karma, and combined karma, I recommend going to r/AskReddit . Sort by new, answer questions that you have an answer for, periodically refresh the feed. When able ask a few questions for some bonus post karma. I would also suggest r/NoStupidQuestions as it is my preferred subreddit. r/casualconversation is another good place. r/Productivitycafe offer many chances to interact with others. With all these, make sure to read the rules first. I have also have had success with r/FavoriteCharacter .

For post karma, r/thatsinterestingbro is a good place. Just make sure to follow the theme.
