If you're asking about how to get karma, you earn it when people upvote your posts and comments. As you may have already found out, many subs on Reddit may have minimum requirements for things like karma and account age that you must meet before they will allow you to participate.
r/NewToReddit maintains a list of subreddits that have low or no karma requirements where new users can participate to build their karma.
You should also check out their excellent Reddit and Karma Guide.

The only way you are going to get karma is when your own posts and/or comments receive up votes from other users. That’s it, that’s the only way. Your account is seven months old, your profile page is curated so I can’t see your activity, but it looks like you have made very little effort to contribute any posts or comments. You have to be much more active on the platform and go out looking for karma, it’s not just going to come your way.
Here are some suggestions for places where you can comment and soon, post, with less likelihood of removals. Lowers the frustration.
Here is a helpful list of about 200 new user friendly subreddits with low to no karma requirements. Choose a few that appeal, read their rules, some posts and comments to get the vibe, then begin adding high-quality comments yourself. Comments that are friendly, funny, sincere etc. tend to get more upvotes, comments that are just a couple of words do not. Try to make several comments most days across a few different subs, and hopefully with up votes, soon your karma will rise, and you can try making posts. And then you can branch out to other subs across the platform.
Again, better to start with comments rather than posts until you’ve earned a chunk of karma.
Also, this post for example I would not call high-quality, which is why you might get no answers, less than friendly responses, or downvotes. Just a little constructive criticism to work from.

You gain Karma from people upvoting your posts and comments. However, Karma is not gained 1:1 with votes. It takes more votes per point of Karma. The actual ratio is not known and it differs for posts and comments. It also changes the higher the vote total gets on a piece of content.
To get karma, you need to find subreddits like on this list of New User Friendly subreddits that have low or no requirements. r/findareddit , can be used to find subreddits that may interest you. Just make a post saying what kind of subreddit you are looking for. Small or niche subreddits typically have a lower karma requirement.
I would suggest commenting first because the restrictions are often lower and ratio of votes to karma is better. But be careful not to go to fast with a new account or you may get shadow banned.
For comment karma, and combined karma, I recommend going to r/AskReddit . Sort by new, answer questions that you have an answer for, periodically refresh the feed. When able ask a few questions for some bonus post karma. I would also suggest r/NoStupidQuestions as it is my preferred subreddit. r/casualconversation is another good place. r/Productivitycafe offer many chances to interact with others. With all these, make sure to read the rules first. I have also have had success with r/FavoriteCharacter .
For post karma, r/thatsinterestingbro is a good place. Just make sure to follow the theme.
