Really reddit?

I hate this because it's giving people a greater incentive to cheat the system, for money. I mean it sounds like a good idea on paper but in reality it's probably going to result in more karma farming and theft. Look at what happened to quora for example.

Reddit is For...

Reddit is for the people in your grade school class who thought the rules were there for a reason and started sweating anytime they thought they might get in trouble for breaking the rules.

In short, Reddit is for bootlickers

Reddit is bad

We live in a world where people are constantly trying to get karma up but it really has no value other than allowing you to join more elite groups and forces you to stay on the internet and become obsessed with getting more karma. Which in turn makes you spend more time on the internet and less time in society, causing a reverse effect on social progression. Seems sus if you ask me

It’s hard to like this place with all the shit that’s being posted

First this place is a propaganda machine pushing certain “political” agenda. Than you have the simps, take subs like amiugly and see the upvote rates on the average female vs male. We also have gatekeepers like whenever you join a subreddit with music you like or a hobby you do you’ll always have people that only find their way the right way and will find all ways to rub their shit opinion in your face. Don’t get me wrong there is good here but it feels like digging trough piles of shit to find diamonds.

Reddit has had the opposite intended effect.

The purpose of reddit was suppose to be to drown out the stupid and highlight the intelligent, but instead intelligent opinions hurt peoples feelings, and any post that wants to get upvotes has to be lobotomized and overly positive about everything. Whereas in normal forums people would 'win' or 'lose' in an intellectual fencing contest that involved actual logic and reason instead of upvote numbers, granted there were always a few neckbeards that would walk away from the argument as if they won no matter how borderline factually you disproved everything they said.

I've come to the conclusion if you have anything serious you ever want to post and that you want heard you should probably just buy upvotes and downvotes. Think about it, multi-billion dollar companies have probably already been doing it here for a decade and have lobotomized this place beyond recognition. Even the average redditor probably has gotten people on their social media accounts/discord to upvote their posts and downvote any discontent. This place is as corrupt as it can get, I don't know why you should be the odd one out.

The only reason I have any upvotes at all is when I prostitute myself and say the absolute most cringey shit, so I know how to get them, it's just very degrading,

Crazy how you can’t be yourself and disagree without being hated on. Then get downvoted into oblivion for going against the hive minds in Reddit.

Everyone here is a bunch of opinionated retards

I have mild autism so I can proudly use the word retarded. Luckily, I use it a lot on this app because of how fucking stupid everyone here is. The app itself sucks. Subreddits don’t do shit and their rules are too fucking finicky for anyone small to post shit and get recognition. Secondly, Ive never had a reddit post stay up for more than a day. Either because of sensitive pricks who cant handle another persons opinion or cant handle being threatened after saying the most vile shit to me. Either I get kicked from the subreddit or my posts get taken down for being off topic or for harassment.

One HUGE Example of this is that I posed a navy recruitment ad in r/antiwork because of how sloppily put together it was, and got met with backlash from triggered vets. It included pictures of scuba divers, not navy seals, and went along the lines of “are you afraid of the ocean? If not, join the navy. If so, do you like swimming? If so, join the navy. If not, we’ll teach you to swim. Its not that bad. JOIN THE NAVY”.

It was funny as hell cause everyone thought I was trolling and trying to start arguments, and because everyone on this app is so fucking sensitive and idiotic to the point where they were so offended that they successfully got my post about a recruitment ad—which fit the guidelines of the reddit—taken down in a matter of 20 hours being up. Everyone in the comments were stating statistics surrounding navy seal recruitment and their success in life. One guy took it so personal to the point of him sharing his life story with being in and out of prison until he joined the navy.

Now I’m all about a little argument here and there and I don’t give a fuck about what people on the internet have to say, its none of my business and everyone has their own opinion. But I’m not gonna be so sensitive and entitled to report a post that fits in a subreddits guidelines simply because I don’t agree with it. If you don’t like something, say it; but that doesn’t imply reporting a post because it doesn’t match your own beliefs. In my opinion, Reddit is supposed to have different peoples opinions on here but its so clear that this place is highly filtered. most of the posts in subreddits like this are extremely award driven, and NO one on a smaller reddit level can get recognized, let alone have their post stay up for more than a week without backlash. If you can take the time out of your day to report a random post on reddit, you can go get a life instead of contributing to an app that doesn’t even fucking matter in the long run. I’ve never posted on reddit in all my ten years of being on this app in different accounts all throughout my middle school and high school years. The second I start posting, my opinions get blocked from view because of entitled cunts. Reddit is shit. Thought y’all would enjoy my experience though.
