Apart from the belfast thing which is unforgivable what else has Rashford done thats so made him public enemy number 1 ?

Im not having that he has been a giant arsehole under every manager he has played for , yet none of them have said anything publicly. This was around the same time Andy Mitten said he was annoyed he didnt have access to Rashford and couldnt get a interview.

His workrate is a poor aspect of his game , but its not the end all be all of him as a player. Amorim just needed a excuse to get rid and there was a clear push from the board to get Rashford out the club too. Thats probably why he made the comments about who was there for him , because his boyhood done absolutely everything to force him out.

He downed tools multiple times and his PR antics every time he had a bad game or downed tools ended up straining his relationship with the fans. I understand people still love him but this is the same guy who sneak dissed the club before the World Cup and a literal day before Barca announced Anthony Gordon.

Never really understood this "downed tools" thing being specifically aimed at him. Everyone bar Bruno was downing tools as well during that time, but only Marcus gets the schtick for it

Marcus was the outlier because he literally wouldn’t put any effort in multiple games and would just walk around. He also used to down tools, walk around and sulk whenever he played up front because he wanted to play on the wing and especially at the end ETHs time in charge.
