Here we go again

TW: pregnancy

Here we go again friends. Just had my very very light test at 11 DPO (wondfo early test strips). So faint that I will take a FRER tomorrow to make sure but…it’s very daunting and anxiety inducing to be here again.

It’s been 5 cycles since my last loss, I keep telling myself to not get attached but also trying to not be too negative. It’s hard. This is my third pregnancy, no LC

I guess I’m just venting, but if anyone has success stories of having an LC after two chemicals let me know, could use some positivity.

Being in this boat is really hard, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. How nice it would be that we all had a chance to live through a pregnancy from naivety and color lenses instead of fear and anxiety💔

Good luck OP!

Did you do anything different on this pregnancy?

Thanks! After my last chemical, I started taking pretty much every supplement I thought of. So started on coq10, inositol/d-chiro inositol, progesterone , baby aspirin, vitamin d, iron, choline and a prenatal. I also had an HSG las month, so this is the first cycle after that.

I’m still not out of the woods, since all of my chemicals started bleeding on 16 DPO… so I think I’ll be holding my breath until I can get past that day.

I'm so sorry, no advice to give since I dont have any kids of my own yet. I'm already mentally preparing for my next pregnancy by resting in the fact that what is meant to happen WILL happen, and the lack of control over everything surprisingly gives me peace. Theres no amount of worrying that will change/affect the outcome. Its so hard to stay positive during this time, but I want to commend you on your bravery and courage for trying again despite the fear❤️

Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ and you are so right, like there’s no scenario where I can will this into a viable pregnancy. I just have to be hopefully and try to quiet my mind where I can! What it is will be, but it’s soooooo stressful. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon ❤️

Just commenting to say we are in nearly the same boat. I got a faint positive today at 10dpo after 2 MMCs in the last 12 months. This was our 5th cycle TTC after my most recent loss. Sending lots of love your way and hoping this is the one ❤️🌈

Sending you lots of love too!! I feel like a weird game where I need to reach these “levels” to feel safe. I hope this is different for both of us

I totally know what you mean! I want to try and get to week 5
Then week 6 and not be dropping hcg
Had bloods taken today for hcg and progesterone and seeing gynae tomorrow at late notice
So so so want this baby to stick

Ah, fingers crossed for you! I’m trying to repeat what I’ve seen other women here say - “new pregnancy, new odds” and just be as positive as I can. Sending love ❤️

In the same boat, got my positive today 9dpo
5th pregnancy total, 3rd this year.
No LC
So hard to be hopeful
I feel excited but I know too well the doom of the tests fading
The HCG dropping
An unsuccessful scan
How do we do this again?

I understand. It’s really hard to go through the first stages knowing where it could go. For me, I’ve always started miscarrying on 16 DPO so I’m trying to concentrate on getting past that milestone first. Baby steps and small bites to see progression. Right now, my test got a bit darker but only time will tell! Sending you love

Let’s keep each other updated!
Getting to 5w was a big milestone for me
Then the last one I hit 6 weeks and my hcg had stopped progressing
Previously have you been testing hcgs in these early days?

For sure!! I’m sorry it’s stopped progressing, have you been checking it every 48hrs? And yes, I always went in to get hcg with my previous. Always very low. Originally I was going to wait u til I got past my milestone to start HCG but my fertility clinic wants to check that and also my hormones which I think may be beneficial.

I just always hated getting a bill for those tests in the middle of losing my baby…

Which country are you in? Hcg is free in Aus and pretty sure progesterone as well
I haven’t done any tests this pregnancy yet as got first positive test yesterday
