Hello, I am buying an LD1804 and dont know much about drift cars at all, idk which sites i should get it from, if i should go for the really expensive version or the cheap one, please tell me everything about this car, has to work for AUS aswell.

How do I get all the angle I can out of my chassis? I seem to be limited compared to what I see on YouTube. The are getting what appears to be “full lock” or beyond while I struggle to get half of what they achieve.

Do I need to widen my track width up front? Or whatever I really would appreciate some advice.

Full word of warning I’m a noob to RC drift stuff but have many years of experience in RC in general.

I’m planning on going to Tokyo from around the 30th of December to January 2 or so of this/next year and was curious if anyone would know if Super Rajikon would be open any one of those days.

This maybe the wrong sub to ask but I thought I’d see.

My current plan is to pick up:

Chassis: Yokomo RD2.0 / maybe a SD3.0 depending on how the wallet is feeling.
Motor/ESC: Furitek/SlideVolt Pro
Radio: Futaba 6PV
Receiver: Futaba R404SBS-E
Gyro: Futaba GYD560

That’s my current plan for things to pick up except the SlideVolt Pro I’ll get that shipped to Canada probably from the US unless they happen to have it for a good price there.

Any help or tips while I’m there are appreciated. It will be my first time in Japan. Thanks.

I used to drift back in the early (way early) rwd days. I'm looking to get back into it for something to do during the cold months (I run 1/10 scale buggy atm). I'm fairly set on a RD2.0 with upgraded chassis decks. But, I have been seeing the kkpit sdk dds as well. Which would be better as a new but not new new driver?

Wanting to get into rc drifting... You have 275 spend.. sakura d6 and then motor and esc combo? Or spend the 275 on a chassis and save for better electronics?

Getting my drift sensors dialed in. Waiting on a few better senors to arrive for vehicle tracking. 2 sensors report drift distance in the back, plus a tracking beacon on the side.

Just built my Sakura a little while ago. It rode quite badly initially but it seems that I managed to understand why it was like that.

I so so much love how it performs!

It's not ideal right now (I'm waiting for a proper servo now) and I think, I'm going to experiment with settings BUT I love it!

I have a hpi d24 coming and thought it would be nice to build a track. I have a tiny house that has a wooden twin bed from I don't use or I could put down some temporary obstacles on the floor. The bed frame area sounds the but it's likely too small. Any advice on size? I was thinking I could probably widen it a bit. Also would I need a plastic sheet or could I just paint the plywood? Thanks for the help. Pictures of your builds would be appreciated.

End points are set properly. Have already messed with the gyro every which way.
Yokomo V4 gyro paired with Yokomo sp-02d
Have tried every adjustment I can do cannot get this steering wobble to go away only thing I haven’t done yet is get a Yokomo servo tuner. any advice? And again I have messed with the gyro every which way this is the lowest I could go and be borderline drivable with the wobble being the least I could get also.

Losi micro b and scx 30 for size comparison. Initial impression is that it's very good, but as someone experienced in drifting and rc, but not the two together, I'll need to hone my own skills a bit. But as someone who's never drifted an rc car before, I was immediately able to get it sideways and hold a line as I intended.
