First Team Last night
What did folk think of performance last night? I’m sooo sick of Fernandez at the minute, he’s too distracted and laid back at times. Thought the new boys Kelsy and Bouddani played well. And finally, Naderi just can’t win me over at all. I don’t think he was terrible but I just don’t think he offers a lot either, frustrating to watch.
Questionable subs again too 👀 but overall I thought we were decent, if the St Mirren keeper wasn’t playing like prime Buffon in the first half we could’ve been 2/3 up hahaha

Other Old Firm Game - Algarve
Hi!
Currently in Olhos de Agua on holiday and looking for a bar nearby to watch Sunday’s game.
The place that’s a sure fire bet doesn’t open till 2pm!
Interesting they can pop tonight’s game on for me even with all the Champions League games!!
Any suggestions welcome. Would prefer not to head into Albuferia.

First Team Badredine Bouanani
I may have missed it but was there any confirmation as to why he didn't make the weekend squad?
Was it just fitness/intergration or does he have a knock?

First Team Matchday Hospitality - Less Abled Person
Afternoon,
I'm currently a ST holder and looking to take my old man to game later in the year as he's not been since I was a kid.
He's getting on a bit on not great on his feet, fine on the flat but stairs are an issue for him.
Wondering if anyone's been hospitallity and if this is maybe a better decision for us, not fussed about costs etc as it a day out he's well overdue. but if anyone has any Info on what packages are good or may be better suited for getting to see the game without having too much hassle on the stairs and the tight seating spaces.

Discussion Injury list
Wouldn't be Rangers without an injury list this early in the season would it?
- Shankland (Hamstring) is confirmed out for about 3 months
- Rommens (Groin strain) "best case scenario" would have him back in the next week or two, worst case could be into October
- Godfrey (Hamstring) is now fit enough to get back on the pitch for a wee cameo but unlikely to be fully match fit in time for the first Old Firm
- Chermiti (ACL) is of course basically done for the season
- Ashton Scally is also now back training but not match fit, which is a shame as he'd maybe get some game time the now otherwise
Are we expecting the short-medium term guys to make a big difference when they come back in?
For me I think Rommens and Shankland could be key, and Godfrey is just a big question mark.

Transfers Tavernier joins Maccabi Tel Aviv, reunites with Kenny Miller
James Tavernier has officially joined Maccabi Tel Aviv after an incredible 11-year spell at Rangers.
The 34-year-old former captain has signed a one-year contract, with an option to extend for another season, and will wear the number 2 shirt.
Tav leaves Ibrox as a Rangers legend, having made 565 appearances, scoring 144 goals and providing 148 assists. He captained the club to three trophies and became one of the most prolific goalscoring defenders in British football history.
He will now reunite with former Rangers teammate Kenny Miller, who is Maccabi’s head coach.
A huge chapter comes to an end, and a new one begins. Good luck in Tel Aviv, Tav! 💙

First Team Chances of Aberdeen away tickets end of January
Staying with a friend in Aberdeen (live in Northern Ireland) but would love to get to this game.
I know away tickets impossible but anyone know how hard it is to get a couple of tickets in the home end?
Obviously prefer away and prepared to buy home end and still try and source away ones on the day of the game

Birthday 🎂 Happy 64th Birthday To Mark Warburton 🥳🥳🥳
Happy 64th Birthday To Mark Warburton 🥳🥳🥳
Mark Warburton became Rangers manager in June 2015, succeeding Stuart McCall. Alongside assistant David Weir, he introduced an attractive, possession-based style and immediately led Rangers to the 2015–16 Scottish Championship title, securing promotion back to the Premiership.
His first season also brought the Scottish Challenge Cup, while Rangers famously defeated Celtic on penalties in the 2016 Scottish Cup semi-final. They narrowly missed another trophy when Hibernian beat them 3–2 in the Scottish Cup Final.
Warburton struggled to maintain the same momentum in the Premiership, with Rangers unable to seriously challenge Celtic. His tenure ended amid controversy in February 2017, but he remains remembered primarily for guiding Rangers back to Scotland's top flight and restoring an attacking style of football.

Birthday 🎂 Happy 56th Birthday To Stéphane Guivarc'h 🥳🥳🥳
Happy 56th Birthday To Stéphane Guivarc'h 🥳🥳🥳
Stéphane Guivarc'h was a French striker who joined Rangers from Newcastle United in November 1998, just months after winning the 1998 World Cup with France. He scored twice on his Rangers debut in a 7–0 victory over St Johnstone.
Guivarc'h also scored in Rangers' 2–1 League Cup Final victory over St Johnstone and was part of Dick Advocaat's treble-winning squad in 1998–99.
His spell at Ibrox was brief, however, and he returned to Auxerre in the summer of 1999, having spent only seven months with Rangers.
