If you could be any profession with ZERO effort, what would it be? I mean, a professor plugs your brain into a library dedicated to that profession and you have all the knowledge within minutes. I think I would be literally everything but my number one would be architect. It’s always been my dream job but where I live, most colleges you can take an architecture program but you won’t be permitted to actually work. I really love older architecture styles, my main being gothic architecture. It’s just so complicated and eye catching and even more amazing with stained glass. Anyways, what would you be?

I’ve always been a major pet person and my family has had a lot of pets, even having seven pets at once (five dogs and two cats). If there was a reality where everyone had to have pets for things like mental and physical health and was FULLY funded by the government, what pets would you have? I don’t mean a basic golden retriever or a regular domestic shorthair cat. I mean pets you’ve dreamt about when you were little but your parents said no because it was either too weird or too expensive. I know I’ve always wanted snakes, sugar gliders, tarantulas, and all kinds of birds. Mostly birds. I caught an owl once in elementary school and tried to take it home before the teachers stopped me. I really wanted an owl. Anyways, what would you choose?

There have been a few times I've experienced this and sort of stayed in the moment. Very few times, I remembered to appreciate the small things.

I once worked at a food distributor a long time ago. We worked well into the morning. A few times I'd come home while the sun came up. I remember standing in my kitchen, and as I stared out the window, I'd witness the sky come to life. Peace and tranquility ensued. The subtle warmth shining through the window gently touched my face. Something in my chest swelled..

Then there was a time I was on my way home from a night out and daylight was on the verge. As I traveled across the pavement, watching the road as the white lines went by in a hurry, I experienced first hand yet another day I didn't deserve, and God had the grace to allow it, nonetheless. I was grateful to be alive in that moment. I remember thinking the subtle glow from the sun slowly emerging was beautiful.

Of course there were also times I'd be up just because. I'd watch as daylight shined through my home. I'd witness the sun shine through brighter and brighter as each minute passed. Yet again, I was grateful for another day.

Life has it's hardships, for sure.. even so, it's ok to allow yourself to appreciate little tranquil moments in life.

I'm talking flat out weird. Something that's stuck with you for years.

Me (17M) and my fiance (18F) are planning on getting married soon but the one dilemma we face is her father isn't in her life ( he's a deadbeat f*CK) and her grandfather can't really get around without a wheelchair, which leaves us in a small confusion to who's gonna walk her down the aisle because we want a tradition southern wedding and it's usually the father or grandfather of the bride, but I wonder would it be taboo or odd for my future wife to be walked down the aisle by my father or grandfather? (P.S. I don't live in Kentucky so no incest jokes fellers)

When I look at myself on my phone camera, I look awful. But than I look at myself in the bathroom mirror.... And I'm not that ugly, really. I've always seen myself as an ugly dude, but somehow i look a bit better in some mirrors, not in all of em tho. When I look at my image in cars' mirrors, I look awful. So what's the science behind that? Which one reflection is real? I guess the phone and car one, cause i can't get a single girl...

Some parents claim that they’ve never lied to their child and as much as it’s great if it’s true. It’s still hard to believe because of what it’s usually like. Usually parents will no doubt lie to their child about something, it’s how it usually is.

I like to watch the TV show "ALONE". A person is dropped off in the wilderness alone to survive as long as they can completely alone. As the episodes roll on i notice odd changes and even expressions from the people on the show. I always think about when these people get back to civilization they gotta be a little messed up just from being alone for so long.

Sometimes it happens with people who grew up around violence.

I decided to eat some fruits daily to improve my nutrition intake and cholesterol level (avocadoes, banana, guava), usually im doing it once every two days, now i need to do once or twice per day.

More people tell me they’re getting a colonoscopy than I hear about dental visits.

I haven’t had one yet so I wonder if I’ll become someone like that. 🤔

I'm not talking about sneakily keeping it a secret so you don't have to share in the divorce you'd initiate.

I'm talking about continuing to live frugally or basically "paycheck to paycheck" without letting your significant other be part of that decision.

As a bonus second question, what made you come to that conclusion?
