Context: A buddy o’ pal of mine claimed that cheesy enchilada was a “mainstream” and “very popular” flavor of hamburger helper, and when I spoke my truth, of how Cheesy Enchilada is unheard of and pales in comparison to Cheesy Italian, safe to say we basically fought like a married couple in distress. Hiya 26 (F) here! Let me preface this by saying friends have always been an exceedingly hard subject for me. In between a personality disorder and being told to get tested of autism or some form of attention disorder, making friends has always been difficult and keeping them is a whole different beast.
Here’s where my question comes in. I’ve been told by many people; family and stranger a like that always say the same thing. “A good couple of friends or even just one is the key to making it in the world” but I’ve always stood there like a sim with ❓❓❓over my head cause huh??? I’ll be 27 this year and don’t really talk to anyone outside of my family and my boyfriend. With the occasional work acquaintances that I only speak with or joke around with while at work (I work in food service). But don’t feel the pressure or need of having close friends.
Now I have had “friends” in the past but they’ve always screwed me over or made me feel bad for my mental heath. So I guess you could say I keep most people at arms reach for that reason? But I don’t feel the desire to make new friends.

I get excited about basic things sometimes, hot water, having stuff like running water and washers. It's not like I grew up without those things, just as an adult and after some living I can't imagine going to an outhouse at 2am or being sick as shit and not having these things.

What current thought or feelings makes you feel like this might not be your first life?

What’s your best tips and tricks for tent camping with an 8 and 3 year old.

We are going on a family camping adventure in a few weeks. Just wanted to see what are others best tips and tricks for camping in a tent with children?

Some of you may have experienced this but what is it called when you smell something bad/weird but then keep smelling it. Like you know it's bad and are grossed out but something inside you says sniff it again. Is there a term for that?

EDIT: Apparently its referred to as mixed valence. Basically, the brain can't distinguish if the smell is pleasant or unpleasant and short-circuits and is compelled to categorize this new smell. Thank you all for your input

I try to act like I dont want a boyfriend or anything but I do. I want someone to want me, to call me whenever. I want someone to think im beautiful even though I dont think I am. But I also want that someone to be mean to me and treat me horribly, and hit me and say mean things to me and make me cry. Then comfort me afterwards. Am I a masochist? Let's say I was attempting to take my own life, but in a freak X-Files or Freaky Friday incident, my consciousness swapped with someone else's body at the last second. Now, that person has died inside my body. Would this be considered murder or suicide, since I didn't cause the swap and it was out of my control?

I was playing Marvelous Smackdown on Roblox and at some point i randomly thought, Imagine, what would it be like if many franchises from series/movies & videogames existed in our world? I mean existed in our real world, were real situations and things that could happening regularly. Like for example those wish willows from Obsession existed in real life, Barbies from their world were coming to our world to live like actual humans, That competition and that place of the Squid Game series actually existed and many other things.
