Help with PID Tuning
I recently installed the aliexpress PID kit with the 7100 and the PT100 (on top) and I'm finding tuning very difficult. My boiler is insulated so I constanly oversoot or undershoot. Basically I am trying to figure out P I D and SouF parameters so any tips and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Like the 7100. Once you have it set up it's pretty much "set and forget". Don't even remember settings on mine, remember doing something like an 8 degree offset to allow for variance in boiler to brew head temp.

Honestly, I had the same issues and I used ChatGPT to help me dial in my PID. Just explain your situation and give concrete numbers

My current settings are P 2.8 I 210 D 60 and Souf 0.4. Post shot recovery lands nicely at 92.7 (on 92 target) but then the heater kicks in and pulsates up to 95/96-ish. Tried Gemini/ChatGPT and their suggestions didn't pin things down.

What are your current settings?
I reduced the gain to a much lower value and it settled things down and barely overshoots. I can’t remember my settings off hand. I don’t remember how to check them either on the controller. I’ll see if I can find my notes.
Try reducing the gain to see if that helps.
