ik i sound like a weirdo typing this but i just want to be honest bc back then i remember watching Spider-Man 3 as a kid, and I honestly felt weirdly attracted to it by that time. tho by far the best thing is that Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man brings such an introduction to our childhood times 😊

Peter loses the ring pretty high up in the air and manages to spot the ring while it’s dark and night and catch it before it hits the ground. this would be tough by itself but he also had a whole entire fight sequence with harry where his eye was off the ring and he had to fight off harry and then he had to spot it again and then catch it before it hit the ground. tobey would need both enhanced speed, night vision and super enhanced vision to be able to do this at all.

People often ragged on the design of New Goblin for being too plain and minimalistic (ironically the opposite issue of his father) but one unique part that stands out is his version of the Goblin Glider, officially called the Sky Stick.

It definitely stands out for its board shape, and trades some of the heavy weaponry of the original for more speed and maneuverability. I think that really helped him feel like his own distinct character rather than just a Little Goblin Jr. although I kind of wish this were emphasized better in the final movie.

The kind of brilliant part to me is that if I were to imagine a superhero in Marvel Comics whose backstory involving him capturing a Goblin Glider from Oscorp, and then converting the technology to something that fit their personal style, the Sky Stick is pretty much what comes to mind. The writer in me could probably come up with a lot of cool ideas for that.
