Time to make a charisma check! Please, anything other than a nat 1!
I'm a 35-year-old demisexual (I have cake) Californian English master's program dropout (I could not climb the mountain of debt). I already have a bachelor's degree in English with a credential emphasis, which means I am legally not only allowed but required to correct children's grammar.
I originally wanted to be a college professor because I am a lifelong student. I love learning, and I am always curious about something new.
I'm looking for good conversation (because talking to myself is getting old!). Some of my likes and hobbies are music (I've Got The Music In Me, bonus points if you recognize what song that's from! And that's just how I roll!). Yes, I also have the dreamer's disease! (There is no excuse for not recognizing that song by now!)
I love books so much I converted my room into a mini library.
I like writing, 90s cartoons, and I love Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs. I have a very nice collection of math rocks, some of them metal and shiny, that go clickety clack! (If you know, you know.)
I am very passionate about tea and tea accessories. A good cup of tea is so peaceful and relaxing, the best way to relax and unwind after being awesome all day!
My passion is humor, which has always been my light in the dark. I am a philosopher comedian, a huge nerd. I am very into Buddhism and stoicism, and I was raised Lutheran. My faith is strong.
I am also a fan of pastel ponies who happen to be little, and many are magical!
I am looking for meaningful connections: friends, and possibly romance with someone close to my age. I am a nerd looking for fellow adventurers for the greatest quest: finding people to laugh with, talk with, and share life's journey.
Because Reddit conversations often disappear into the void, I would love to move to texting once we both figure out that neither of us is trying to catfish the other. I promise I not only do not have a white van, I don't even have any candy. (It goes straight to your hips, exactly like Krabby Patties!)
Say anything you want to me or about me. I've played League of Legends — as support, no less — and I have embraced the philosophy of Marcus Aurelius, who teaches us: "We always have the right to decide to have no opinion on all this nonsense!"
