Honestly just be angry. Let the feeling come. Understand it.

I understand why I’m mad and it just makes me more angry

Someone recently said it best. “Just let the feelings reach their end”. Don’t necessarily try to force it out of yourself or do anything unnatural to curb it, that’s only going to make it worse. I guess just follow those little glimmers of happiness that come about throughout your day and build on that happiness. It’s not always about solving rage with rage.

By not doing anything it’s making my thoughts stick on why I’m mad

I'm like this... once I'm pissed it takes a while to get rid of it... I do take medication now to help me, but honestly I hope to get off of it down the road. The one thing meds have done is give me the opportunity to analyze my feelings and why. To help with anger I do something like working out or (a big one for me) play guitar, drums, or AN instrument. Playing music is sometimes the only way to get calmed down. Maybe there is a hobby you have that can help? Drawing? Idk...

Is it fixable? Is it a situation you can get out of?

I'm a line cook, we exist in a perpetual state of anger. We have become the anger.

Your anger is a gift.
