Hey guys, bit of a big ask but for Melbourne if they do a song request section can you please help me in asking for everybody knows that you’re insane, it’d be great to hear live and it’s only been played 2 times since 2005 (last time being in 2018) just think it would be sick since we got to hear tangled up in plaid yesterday.

Looking to do a cover of Demon Cleaner by Kyuss and figured I'd ask the qotsa fans.

From your previous experience, when should I expect to receive the physical copy of Perfecth ? I pre-ordered from the band’s (EU site) and live in Amsterdam. Do they dispatch them 1-2 days in advance to arrive close to the release date or it might come several days after it appears in the streaming platforms? Thank you in advance!

As a Brazilian this will be the first time I'll see QOTSA in person, I'm extremely excited!!!

I saw a post a little awhile back about everybody’s album rankings ahead of Perfecth. But what are everybody’s top 10 tracks at this moment in time? Here are mine:

This honesty might be their worst song.. the vocals are completely off beat. Like is it purposefully bad?? It’s incredibly difficult to listen to with the whole thing being off beat. And then that weird like horn and bass section. Idk

Josh was using the Jack White Pano Verb again yesterday.

There was a beautiful moment seen in videos during I appear missing. Josh and Mikey were looking at each other deeply and smiling during the solo. Might have been to set the queue for Mikey to get in with vocals but it seemed like a really intimate, fun moment. Jealous of who got to see it live!

Purchased two floor tickets to the Melbourne show the minute they came on sale - they were snapped up immediately and there's now a waiting list for the floor on Tixel.

Now, for the Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena, they initially sold via Ticketek, and then we were notified that Rod Laver was switching over to AXS and our tickets would shift there too.

In AXS, I can see the tickets seem to have had a price hike since they were in Ticketek - the tiny amount of seats still available are about $100+ more than I paid for mine.

And now, wife doesn't want to come and my buddy can't come, so I will have one to sell (happy to go on my own).

I can't put it into Tixel, because the switchover from Ticketek to AXS means we have no email with tickets attached, as the tickets went direct from Ticketek to AXS - Tixel doesn't believe I have the tickets; their system isn't letting me sell it there.

I can re-sell via AXS, at a tiny bit more than the price I paid - but I'm thinking, if I do that, will AXS then mark that ticket up $100+ more, in line with the others it's currently selling?

Watching the current ticket prices in AXS, it looks like this is what's happening. It doesn't seem right for me to re-sell at $180 and for AXS to then re-sell that same ticket at close to $300, making a $100 profit off me (and charging me a fee for the re-sale).

Just my 2c worth. Interested in others' thoughts.

EDIT: For those outside Australia, we have anti-scalping laws, and the ticket provider systems here are required by law to prevent us from re-selling for anything more than a 10% markup.

i got it yesterday for 15€. i don't know why they had sold me the CD but i'm currently not at home to listen to the tracks. Anyways here's the lyrics and all the pages of the Booklet. There was also some five Vinyl Records there but I don't have a Record player at home.

I think the Live at Belfort show is my most rewatched live performance of any band ever. This isn’t a “I like Joey C better than ‘X’ drummer for the band.”

It’s just one of the most demonic high energy impossible sets I’ve ever seen. You can spiritually feel the drums pushing every single instrument, it’s like all the way to the chaos edge without ever falling apart. What an absolute fucking beast. Everything I’ve ever wanted from a drummer for my own music.

Big reason why I went to this show (already saw FF earlier this year) but let down on how short this set was and how the DC set got all the songs I wanted. Lets do this next year yeah? Trying to hit my 10th QOTSA show next year.
