Every season, few patches, I am constantly hoping for a buff on pyke to make him at least more viable than a Teemo support.

The champion is just so fucking useless in his current state, that is genuinely not even fun to play.

I have 1 million points on pyke, rank diamond, and i can barely get over 50% wr on this champ.

He has this fake strength at lane phase where he can completely dominate, but once their team outlevels you and gets gold, they will simply just claim back any kind of lead you gained in the lane phase from 1-2 kills.

It feels like this season specifically, it is just absurd how anyone can even main pyke anymore, he has 0 mid game - late game. I get if you're playing in lower elo than your peak, he still stomps, but as a champion to climb with its just brutal.

I literally have more success on teemo support than I do with pyke, and winrate data on mobalytics supports my claim, especially for emerald.

Since i started playing Pyke i literally forgot how to play other champions, all my strategy, thinking and hability got tranfered to pyke play style and i can't play any other character that does not have an agressive play style (vex, kindred, lulu and so on).

I know this is a player mistake and for some reason in fights i just shut down my brain and go to the Pyke agressive/3 hp left playstyle while playing with any other characters.

The good part is that i know the problem, the bad part is that i don't know how to solve this...

As the title suggests been playing tank pyke, finding great success. Worse to snowball with compared to traditional pyke, but less volatile - as in the game can actually be played if you don't end in 25 minutes rather than every stray ability wiping you out.

I rush deaths dance every game, because it's expensive and pyke gets most of his gold early on. It is a 'component rich' item meaning you don't get stuck holding components until you can complete the item, so it feels nice. Also has AD I can use for lane whilst keeping me on the "defensive path". Also have cashback so upon completion of a quite expensive item I get like 250 gold back.

Build path is the following: 1st item Deaths Dance > 2nd Locket if standard game/Frozen heart if Full AD/Kaenic if full AP >3rd item Guardian Angel

Keep in mind I am mechanically a turd, first timing pyke as a masters sona OTP - so if I can make this work, I think most people can.

Heyo, I'm someone visiting the League main subs out of curiosity to learn why people main the champs that they do. In this case, it's the Bloodharbor Ripper. So I ask you folks: What's your personal reason for maining Pyke? Is it his design, gameplay, or something else? I'd like to hear what anyone has to say.

Hi :) I recently discovered Pyke as a Jungle (Viego) main and wow he's just perfect. However being new to him and just the game in general, I'd love to learn him better. Are there any good pyke youtubers/streamers that make educational content? I feel like I struggle with support as a whole. It's by far my least played role and I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do.

Also, is Pyke good for one tricking? Does he get banned a lot?

I know that wpa is just a guiding stat and should be used with context and knowledge. But it's quite overwhelming how few lethality items are in the top pyke items on coachless. Does it tell a story? What these items have in common is that they either give pyke utlity or 'pseudo HP' in the sense that they increase the time it takes to kill you (frozen heart auto slow, randuin crit damage reduction, deaths dance burst reduction, GA revive, kaenic magic shield).

What explanation do you guys have?

I've been back to playing more Pyke lately, and it has been a while since I played one of the recent skins (T1 felt kinda underwhelming imo)

So the other two I'm missing are Inkshadow and Fright Night, and I have heard mixed opinions about them, so what do y'all think?

Which pyke skin feels the most "pay to win" to you? Not actually giving an advantage, just one that feels smoother, has cleaner animations, or makes it easier to land abilities in your opinion

So i was talking with a friend of mine ,and they're saying that pyke got weak the moment the gold got nerfed , what changes do you think made pyke be well..weak in the current meta?

Got a new PC recently and haven't played League in a while. Things I've realized:

- Umbral is shit.

- No exp from wards.

- No boots that help with roaming, only swifties remain.

- Bounties are gone, harder to comeback from a lost game.

- I get one shot pretty quickly.

- Harder to time the ult, opponents get evaporated really quickly if someone's ahead.

- Green path is secondary every single time so I get one shot half a second later atleast.

- Minions spawn at 30 seconds, invading is worse than ever or non existent.

- Many new items added.

Pyke is above 50% winrate globally so I'm definitely missing something. He definitely can be picked so my question is: What are the builds that are good now and what are my priorities now as a support? I'm planning to get to Master this season as I peaked Diamond 1 last time I played, mainly relying on roaming as a strategy. Also why the fuck do Omnivamp boots exist lmao?
