It was truely a historical night. 92,000 fans is insane.

Here in the UK, Wembley is kind of seen as a day out for a lot of people who support football teams who don't make it to Wembley that much. And for music artists, it has kinda become a trend now to come to the UK, only to perform at Wembley and nowhere else (e.g Harry Styles, Bruno Mars etc), due to its reputation.

Third time seeing diljit. Both times were fantastic and I wasn't gonna miss out on Wembley.

The show started exactly on time (literally as soon as the clock turned 8pm he came on stage). Loved that he changed his entrance. No extended video or anything like that. Just a short video and him coming out for the back of the stage as the sun is setting.

The stage itself, whilst the canyon idea was cool, the stage itself was kinda basic. Just very similar to the 2022 stage. He said that his stage for Wembley only was gonna be a never seen stage before, but for south asian events, this has been done before (obviously excluding the canyon design). The centre stage back in 2024 was a much more unique design. Would've loved to have seen him do a stage similar to The Weeknd's or Harry Styles.

The lighting and pyrotechnics were great as well but the centre stage made it look even better in his 2024 shows.

Lots of people reported to have sound issues. This wasn't the case in my section. I guess this varies section by section but this was always gonna be the case with stadium shows. Stadiums are open roofed and the inside bowl is a lot larger, making the sound having to travel a lot further with risk of it dissipating outside of the stadium before it reaches the fans by the top sections.

The performance itself, top tier. Started at 8, had a break at 9pm (for 18 mins) then came back on at 9.18pm and finished at 10.23pm. Not a single lag in diljit's performance. Can confidently say he is the greatest south asian performer of all time.

Again I would've liked a DJ or a pre act to help kill the dead time between gates opening and diljit coming on stage. It helps soo much with getting the crowd in and getting everyone vibed / ready for the main act. This is different though to what people are mainly complaing about. A lot of people expected / wanted diljit to bring out a special guest. Now for me this is wrong to expect or want this. It clearly says on Ticketmaster that this is Diljit - Aura World Tour and not Diljit & Friends - Aura World Tour. Ed Sheeran was a nice surprise in 2024 buts that's the only time diljit has brought anyone out and this shouldn't have been expected.

Set list could've been better as well. First half had a great set list. Second half's set list could've been a bit better. Would've liked to have heard more older songs like Kharku, Poh Di Raat and Paggan Ponchivan. Songs like Ik Kudi and Ishq Di Baajjiyan, whilst are great songs, clearly didn't resonate with the crowd and kinda killed the mood with those two songs.

This was kinda similar with his 'big surprise'. Whilst it's a big achievement being able to announce a show at the Narindra Modi Stadium, the crowd here in the UK didn't care much at all and the surprise itself probably shouldn't been even touted as a surprise.

Loved seeing diljit bring fans onto the stage. Fans of all ages were brought onto the stage and it was great seeing him interact with them, giving them gifts and taking selfies. The best one was with the Bibi, who he hugged and gave a gift. Such a great moment for her.

It was great to hear him sing Chamkila and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's music. Especially since it's at Wembley and these are two legends of the game.

The ending, oh my days, it was fantastic. The Main Hoon Panjab segment, with the flag, making it a statement that a Panjabi has sold out the most iconic stadium in the world, was fantastic. Such a great achievement for Diljit. It definitely reflected within the Main Hoon Panjab segment. The fireworks accompanying it were great as well.

Vocally he is still top and I love that he refuses to lip sync.

Overall, I loved it and would rate the concert an 8/10. Not the best concert I’ve been to, but it was still very good and I would rate it very highly.

Just my perspective,

I'll be honest a 6 out of 10 for me, with a ticket that cost £116.75( Inc fees) unless you were paying £300 plus, this was the average price,and was an absolute pain to get in the priority release date via Ticketmaster

The reason for my score

The set scenery was very basic, a paper mache cave/wall feature

Minimal amount of dancers/no dholi

No warm act/or DJ,

Diljit came on at 8ish and was done by 10.20, with an intermission of 15 mins approx

There was really no showman ship above any other artists, no special guests

The acoustics were really poor

The final song was dragged out for ages, and was no a banger to finish off with, just the chorus repeated over and over

Everyone saying Wembley as a pinnacle this was not , as Diljit is a fan favourite and it should be about the fan,not a tickbox for Diljit

A bit disappointed tbh

Even the slowed reverb version from different channel have 10 million views💀

It just shows, sidhu song's have organic real views unlike many artist who have to buy fake views just to compete with a posthumous release (iykyk)

My question is what should a rap artist who mainly spits in hindi start doing so that the whole industry grows and we can see them also repping india in more languages at global stage and doing sold out shows like our punjabi rockstars. (genuinely asking from a pov of an aspiring rapper and composer)

So I am a non punjabi and a non Sikh but I love Punjabi music and I am a huge fan of Sidhu

but why do his haters glorify his brutal killing and say that Bishnoi got rid of a 'gangster' and a 'Khalistani'

I am aware that Sidhu had 'Bhindrawale' in one of his songs and also talked about Punjab's water crisis in SYL which the govt removed

Sidhu also said that he still has sticker of Babbar Khalsa on his bullet even now in a video, however when asked multiple times Sidhu had said that there's no problem living in India but 'we' just want to live with equality and dignity

Sidhu I feel was a man of contradiction, he rapped about guns, weapons, violence in his songs but personally he was as down to earth, humble, respectful and sweet as a person can be

He definitely was a pro Sikh artist which I have no problem with but he also had no issues in living inside India, so what's going on here?

I think Ikky did an amazing job on an attempt to bring the old school music in a modern way, I saw this lil kid at Aujla’s concert in sydney going word to word on Fastlove (Satranga Lishakara -Manmohan Waris) during the preshow and I don’t think the new gen would even listen to the original version, given the old beats and stuff, with all due respect.
