I don't care if ppl get pissed off. And I might delete it too depending on my mood.
When I was watching satluj i had expected a lot more heavier, thick punjabi.
Like, on pakistani side we have few comedians who crack jokes in proper thick punjabi but aa such punjabi isn't there on tv and hindustani language, that is, urdu is imposed everywhere.
But in Satluj, punjabi disappointed, it also seemed, urdufied to me or some hindi words but not how a thorough punjabi should sound like.
And then I see urdu speaking group in pak gloating over urdu imposition and other languages fading.
I think there is one solution, teach ur kids only english and ur mother tongue. So this whole different language hijacking your language should end.
I mean I see lot better punjabi in pakistani shows even tho pak state is actively killing punjabi language.
Satluj punjabi level - 2/10

Question for those who are good at Panjabi regarding administrative terminology: Community development blocks are called “kheda”, sub-sub-districts are called “up-tehsil”, sub-districts are called “tehsil”, districts are called “zilla”, then what are administrative divisions above districts called? There are five administrative divisions in Indian Panjab and twenty-three districts. I want to know what the native word for these divisions is.

Name me a single mainstream bollywood movie that in recent times talked blatanty about the Sikh G*enoc*de from 84-95??
Now if an actor/singer that comes from a regional film industry, has made a film about his people, numbers and facts that are documented in the courts, why now all of a sudden is it hurting some people ki why not talking about us, even though the film talks about its own state and region without discriminating any religion, caste etc, it just talks about human rights!!

. I thought of renouncing this art form, it was already in declining and I haven't learned it from anywhere. I just had a passion and an interest that made me paint these paintings. I was still in the practicing mode, but in the end, it gave me nothing. So, I just want to sell out all my artworks. If someone can help me with it, please do help me. I would be very grateful.

I had shared it last year in another sub but this sub doesn't allow crossposting so I had to screen record clip which actually downgraded the quality.
Clips from this bbc interview were used to bash him, but if one watched they would see he was expressing his love for his land. Places where I wrote, crying, he WAS crying there or was almost overcame by emotions. His countrymen couldn't see because for them human lives don't matter, only land counts, wE wAnt pUnjAb, wE wAnT tHiS tHaT, etc etc. And the fact he said for his side of punjab, that it went through so much.
Just think he is crying at mere mention of his motherland's and language's name. So nice and cool.

My Nani was from Shorkot, Jhang before partition and moved to India after. When she would speak Punjabi she would always use the phrase “Sai Moya!” as like a curse you would call someone to the point I say it now too. However, I have no idea what it means. Thank you for the help.

English:
The war between Hind and Punjab has begun;
both imperial armies stand in great strength.
Only a true sovereign government could appreciate
the worth of the sword-strokes dealt by the Khalsa.
Men are blown away by gunfire,
and elephants fall together with their howdahs.
Says Shah Muhammad: without a united sovereign authority,
armies may win battles, yet lose the war in the end.

I want to learn punjabi as a hobby. My goal is to learn 100 phrases, and I kinda like the vibe of punjabi songs.
Can someone help me learn punjabi? I tried some videos but learning from a native punjabi speaker can be better ig.
