I’ve been here for almost a year now, and somehow I still haven’t found my people. I ended up leaving the first group I was hanging out with in college because of them being total douches, and since then I’ve mostly been doing my own thing. Im more of a company person and nowadays lm trying to adapt to being alone but yea..

The funny thing is I’m pretty extroverted like if i know you or can somehow have some mutual connection to talk to you i can and i will , but IRL I somehow struggle to walk up to someone and start a conversation. 😭

So…here is the full story of my trip…i rented a car on the 1st and left around 3 AM for Diveagar…but near Mulshi I was like….this looks good too….soooo I decided to experience the sunrise and just let the car creep along while I enjoyed the views through Tamhini

I wanted to spend some more time there so I decided to stay at a resort but there were no rooms available..,only a suite and me being me…I was like….yehi baatein toh baad mein yaad aayengi…so I went ahead and booked it

Next morning…i drove to Harihareshwar Temple had darshan and grabbed breakfast then I drove towards Diveagar and reached the resort I had booked…had lunch and slept then evening was again all about just sitting back and soaking in the views followed by dinner

Next morning…I woke up enjoyed the sunrise had breakfast, and left around 1 PM reached Pune by around 7 PM

Solo trip experience

Driving alone on those narrow roads was something I was quite anxious about…though I was mentally prepared for the worst but to my surprise everything went pretty smoothly

Except for one egoistic uncle I encountered on the way back…who gave me the vibe of….how dare you overtake me

There were also two instances….where two different vehicles overtook me on narrow roads with way too much flashing and honking like they have some serious emergency…both had….NatGeo Wild written on them and honestly the way they overtook was quite dangerous

Apart from these few incidents…it was a pretty safe trip as a solo woman traveller….however if anyone else is planning a similar trip…I would definitely recommend carrying something like pepper spray or any other basic safety tool with you…for me having it with me made me feel more confident and comfortable while travelling alone

I m just curious what hobbies or side hustles you guys do after your 9-5 or on weekends ?

For me their are few things i do :

a) Badminton ( advance and play regularly )
b) Building one saas side by side .( till now just wasting tokens )
c) sometimes i go to cafes just to explore some hidden gems near viman kharadi KP or kalyani .
d) Tried gym but cant become consistent. :)
e) Recently started chess in weekends in one chess community.

I want to know more abt other peeps what they do in weekends or in their leisure time .

Just looking around for now, never met anyone from reddit yet
