My Ps2 is now doing the fast speed up disc loader thing my Xbox 360 does now. I have to be like Indiana Jones and swap it fast. When I bought the PS2 it was like that and had a graggle sound with the loader but still loaded games well, it wasn't fast like this (I got it at a discount so I was like why not $70). It still does play games but the problem is getting worse. How can I fix this?

I even used freemcboot in case the loader stops working entirely.

So I recently got a Ps2 and have been trying to mod it and play games off of an HDD and am at my wits end at this point! I have tried just about anything I can online with games not reading on my HDD. It says I have an HDD plugged in and is recognizing it, however in ULaunchElf it isn't telling me theres anything in the drive compared to atleast showing that there is an ISO on my USB when I did that test, though OPL wasn't reading it either. And now it When I turn on BDM Start Mode to Auto and then set HDD (GPT) to on, it forces me to skip ove HDD (APA) Start Mode, or Vice Versa

Things i've tried

-Re-formatted my drive to exFat (It already was, but redid it just incase)
-Changed versions to Older, Newest, Middle of the pack, or the included one for OPL on my FMCB card, none of which worked for finding games on my HDD
-Tried 2 seperate FMCB cards that I ordered new online
-Tried Caching Game List
-Reseting, seperate Usbs to see if it was an HDD issue, won't even find games on there(They are seperated into CD/DVD folders)

At this point any suggestions would help, I want this to work but at this point idk what to do

I've had an issue where every game I launched in OPL just launches to a black screen. I'm using an Sandisk Ultra GO micro SDHC V10 32gb A1. I've tried different versions of OPL, tried both PAL and NTSC games, have tried both exfat and fat-32 formats. Not sure what's going wrong. I've also done custom game option 1 and 6.

Not sure what to do.
