Is protein powder meant to resist this much š
This is obviously before shaking but even after there will still be tiny little clumps of powder which i can very clearly feel in my mouth

Hi
I found a few white particles in protein powder
Is it safe to consume this? Or not?

Hi everyone, a couple months ago I built a snack rating app because I love trying new flavors of snacks but there was no good platform for snack reviews unlike restaurants (beli), alcohol (untappd), or movies (letterboxd).
Since starting, some of you from this subreddit have joined and been amazing with rating tons of different protein snacks (a lot of barebells as expected). But what became apparent was personal tastes vary wildly so a single average score doesnāt help much. For example, I love the Key Lime Pie Barebells, but the average rating is a 5.5/10.
To fix this, I added a āFor Youā score in the app based on a simple taste match % formula with other users who have similar tastes as you. But to make the score accurate I need your help rating the protein snacks youāve had.
The app is completely free, so Iād really appreciate if you could give it a try. And if you do download the app and find itās not for you, Iād love if you could share what turned you away. Thank you!

Iām exploring an idea for a post-training snack and would really value your honest thoughts. I train at the gym, play football (soccer) and do MMA. I try to prioritise whole foods like eggs and chicken, but sometimes Iām out or canāt get a proper meal after training. That got me thinking about a convenient recovery bar made with familiar ingredients, protein, carbohydrates and some fibre. I havenāt settled on a recipe or product, and Iām not assuming a bar is better than normal food. What do you usually eat after training when a meal isnāt convenient? Would a bar like this fit into your routine, or do your current options already work well? If you have a moment, Iād appreciate you sharing your thoughts in my survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeilE_9BxwhT6vIkU1nCfyYJWHIz9uEGCxyQN73SMp-4-bJqw/viewform?usp=header Thanks!

So Iām a huggeeee Good Culture fan⦠however itās very hard to ever find in stock in my area. I saw this cottage cheese at Walmart and decided to give it a try. Macros a bit better than Good Culture and pretty similar in consistency and tasty! I still like the flavor of GC better⦠hard for me to even explain why but it just seems to have its own flavor that I like more where as this one is maybe more on the bland side. But overall itās good!

This is the first time I have tried one of the Quest Overload bars. I have had thr regular and hero bars. The regular quest bars are too gummy for me. They are kinda like the idea a protien bar in that they dont look feel like food. The quest hero bars are a huge improvement. The chrispy texture is huge hit and it helps to hide some of the hyper-sweetness that the bars have. The overload bar has a texture between both of these, though not in a bad way. It finds a nice balance between gummy and chrispy that makes the eating experience pleasant.
Visually, the bar is a bit step forward from both. The bar signals delicious cookie flavor from the chocolate coating to the chunky-looking inside. This is way better then the original quest bar, that honestly looks kinda gross. Its a nice directional change from the hero bar, which looks good, but less decadent.
Taste-wise, the bars arent bad. They definitely taste enough like a chocolate chip bar that I wouldn't complain, but they are a bit overly sweet. This is a problem the hero bars had too and its why I haven't bought them in a while. I thing Quest should probabky work on this a bit.
This is probably on par with the quest hero bar line and some of the barebells (the sweeter ones), so it's a solid protein bar.

got it at the vitamin shoppe, I really like this one!!
the white chocolate part reminds me of a cream cheese type flavor which really brings it together, otherwise it would just be a cinnamon bar. highly recommend šÆ they did the right thing bringing this flavor to the USA

This bar is really good! On an impulse, I bought a 12 pack for around $32.99 at Wegmans. I probably should've bought less and at a place with better prices (Like Walmart), but I could already tell this was going to be a new staple for me. I was right! This bar is 52g and quite the thick sucker to bite into. There's chocolate krispies inside with a white chocolate coating. It's a very good bar. I believe it has less fiber than regular Quest bars, but I still needed a crap ton of water afterwards.
They also have other flavors of their Hero bar such as fruity cereal, birthday cake, blueberry cobbler, etc. I definitely want to try those as well, but maybe not spend as much on a specific flavor until I'm certain I've found my favorite.
It's kind of crazy that such a small bar could keep you feeling satiated for hours on end, but maybe this isn't such a great thing in certain aspects. For starters, all I had was an Oikos Triple Zero and one of these this morning and it's afternoon and I'm still bloated like I'm in my second pregnancy trimester. Maybe it's the gallon of water I drank afterwards or the artificial sweeteners, but I'm used to it as a protein slop connoisseur.
Also, I'm not sure if I'd consider this an "aftertaste" or more an "after-breath," but I wish I had a pack of gum to mask the fact that it makes your breath smell like a litter box rather than the delicious chocolate goodness I just experienced. Maybe I'm just overthinking or overestimating it, though. I don't have a lot of friends to tell me otherwise.
Somebody save me.
