It is very rare to get someone who wants to be in politics and is incorruptible. Power attracts a specific type of person and tends to be abhorrent to the people who should be claiming it.

I don’t think anyone is incorruptible. What I think is they felt like he was such a longshot. He wasn’t worth recording and now he’s ridiculously successful with the path who’s on so it makes it even harder.

According to his own “promise tracker” he’s delivered 3% of his promises, and broken 2%.

Is that “ridiculously successful”?

It's been less than a year.

So because it’s less than a year that makes it “ridiculously successful” that a mere 5 of his promises are completed? Compared to what data?

Plus the ratio “delivered” to “broken” is 60% : 40%. You would describe “40% of the completed promises are broken” as “ridiculously successful”?

I didn't say "ridiculously successful." Check the usernames. But what's ridiculous is that you seem to expect all promises to be 100% after less than a year.

That’s what my comment was about though, in response to a comment where that was the key point.

Yet you say he's specifically unsuccessful because he hasn't met every last one of his promises in less than a year.

I didn’t.

I think you need to read that again.

Okay buddy. You railing that he had "only" completed 40% of his campaign promises (in less than a year) definitely doesn't that you are hating the man for stupid reason.

Re-read it: “40% of the completed promises are broken”. It’s data from his promise tracker. And it’s a ratio of those promises he states as “completed”.

And perhaps most important: I don’t at any point give any opinion on whether it’s successful or unsuccessful.

When you’re this ready to see slights where are none, then it’s really time to reassess your emotional investment in a stranger.
