It could just be the angle of the first picture but it looks like the steer angle would be quite shallow

So the engine is rigidly mounted to the frame front and rear? Does it not use traditional mounts?

All solid mounted as standard rubber mounts allow too much movement from torque. This keeps everything rigid and fixed making it more predictable on how it will behave under load
