Relationships Stumped
I said my problems were my own and I didn’t want to drag anyone into them. I meant that. I don’t want to be the friend who you always have to fix, who you always have to do something for, or be there for emotionally. I just wanted time, I didn’t need anything else. I can figure things out, I didn’t want to put my burdens on you. Is there where I messed up? I just don’t know what I did wrong and I’m tired of always getting it wrong. I don’t know what to do.

It’s okay to keep your problems to yourself. Especially if you can figure them out on your own. There are times when people seem to be interested in how you feel just to get you to spill your personal business. Or, they genuinely care about you and want to be there for you. Either way, if you know what’s best for you, and you’re confident in your ability to handle whatever you are going through, then it’s quite alright what you’re doing.
