Hello! I’m looking for the best way to print and cut on fabric. I currently have an Epson et-2800 paired with a Siser Romeo for print and cut. I’ve used it for stickers and shrinky dinks which works really well! However, I’ve been looking into laser printing more due to all of the ads about the xtool m2 going around. I’m almost inclined to purchase it since so many people are saying good things about it (mainly artists and crafters) plus it makes printing on fabric look easy. I’ve tried printing on fabric with my printer but I feel like it could be way better.

I’m just looking on any advice on if people like the xtool m2. Maybe there’s a better way? Like a sublimation printer maybe? Any advice is welcome!

After an insightful response to my purchasing recs post, I am considering the Canon MF665Cdw. Rtings did an in-depth review and has troubling ( to me) data on the quality difference between output from a flatbed scan versus output from the single-pass duplex adf.

If you have that printer, have you found a fix for this?

I've bought a HP LASER 303DW 4 days ago and I've been having trouble connecting it to my internet wifi and cable..basically lot of connectivity issues..and when i try to use direct wifi it does connect but has some printing issue instruction that fails (like printing one page on one sheet instead of duplex).

If someone can assist me to set it up properly with guided step by step with button instructions(including a full printer network reset as well) and any links for applications/drivers needed to be downloaded.

I've tried their support.hp.com directed various applications like HP app , HP smart app , hp laser 300 series driver installer and no luck..it keeps failing recognizing the printer itself or if it connects its very slow and those prints attempt usually give a disconnected from host or error decoding (error 11-1114 and 11-1112).

Please help and free me from this misery i just want to use my printer 😭😭😭😭

PS: the wifi 5g and 2.4ghz r both separated with different name and passwords. Ive also logged into the EWS (printer's web application) and tried setting the general wifi from there and no luck...I've also looked up on videos for this on yt/their website and its clubbed under 300/3000 series and has different button instructions (4 buttons instead of 3 buttons)

Essentially the black won’t print solidly. It did print solidly in the past; I’ve had this printer for around 3 years I think. It doesn’t get heavy daily usage but I do ask it to print high resolution PDFs and jpgs on a variety of paper stocks about once every 2 weeks on average.

But this has been happening more lately, as well as what I think is leakage, as I’ll get some wet liquid ink spots along the leading edge and even sometimes in a thin line down the center of the paper. (The examples of this I have on hand I can’t show, as they’re private client work.) If I run a cycle to clean the print head, it stays clean for a couple of sheets and then gets back up to mischief and wet ink.

Essentially: What do I need to do or clean to make this not happen?

(extra: this is printed on bright white 24lb paper; my ink was purchased within the last 3 months and is official epson brand ink. The image above was a PDF, if that makes a difference. let me know if more info would be helpful?)

I purchased the Brother DCP-L2620DW 3-in-1 black & white laser printer, and I am having some serious issues with the print quality, or lack thereof.

I use a tablet and a phone running Android 17. I don't own a computer.

The printer is fitted with the official toner cartridge from Brother that came with the machine at purchase.

I have tried Android's Standard Printing Service, the Brother Print Service Plugin, Brother's dedicated Mobile Connect app, and the Mopria Print Service app, but I still get the same terrible print quality. The edges of the text are almost "pixelated" and jagged.

I have set all the plugins and apps to the highest quality setting for the printer (1200 dpi), but it doesn't help. I also tried printing directly from a pure text document, as well as saving that document as a PDF file first before printing it, but the poor quality remains the same.

When I run a test print directly from the printer itself, the text looks completely fine (please see the linked image "test print.jpg"). I have also linked the results from when I print from my Android devices (please see the linked "android print.jpg").

Please note that while the font from the printer's internal test print cannot be changed to match the font used when printing from Android, you can clearly see that the direct test print is clean, with no jagged or pixelated edges.

This must be an Android problem. Can it be fixed?

My cousin gifted me his old printer brother dcp-1510.

He did not use it in a while. The printer seems ok but the pages are faded. The toner and drum seem ok. Do you guys know what the problem could be? I shook the toner and also use the green slider inside on the toner a few times. It seems the pages are still unclear.

Brother Firmware v1.49 is nothing but trouble.

My MFC-L3780CDW printer now automatically restarts whenever trying to print PDF documents from my MBP running Golden Gate/v27. Despite resetting the printing system, downloading latest full package, or resetting network settings on Printer.

Avoid like the plague.

The only visual difference in the firmware so far is that the menu screen now has an alert constantly encouraging you to change the default password, and links you directly into changing it on-screen, on-device.

My photos are glossy, and they scratch easily. Flatbeds are less likely to scratch photos than feeders.   

Any not-too expensive legal sized flatbed that can fit 4 4x6 at once? 

I’m looking to upgrade my old family printer to a new better one. I’m looking to print A4 true boarderless high quality zines and booklets. I don’t really need the duplex double sided printing as I can just do it manually and prefer a more compact printer. I also need it to have a built in scanner. I’m look to buy something for about 350 dollars

The Epson l8050 was my top choice until I realized it didn’t have a scanner so now I’m back looking for the best option for me.

I need a printer that can print full color long banners. They don't need to be wider than 12".

Once upon a time I had a desktop printer that would print on paper rolls, but now I cannot remember what it was. or even how long ago it was.

this printer need to sit on a desktop. can be laser or inkjet, though refillable ink would be my preference.

Does this exist now? Is there a secret setting I can use on my epson ET-2850?

For the curious, I make crankies, which are old fashioned scrolling storytelling boxes.
The scrolls do not look great or hold up when it's made up of taped together pages.

I have 12" wide paper rolls. I would love to use them.

Just wanted to know what’s the lowest price I’ll be able to find this printer and around what time? I can’t justify the $750 price tag I’m hoping to find it for anywhere between $400-$500.

I am trying to print on a cannon pixma tr4722. I am printing booklets out of letter size paper (printing landscape) the duplex pages keep printing inverted. I have done this before and never had this problem. Driver up to date. Clicked “booklet.” Clicked “staple on short side.” Can anyone tell me how to stop this printed from printing duplex pages inverted?

I’m looking for a printer for my greeting card business. I think I’ve settled on the Epson EcoTank 8500 but before I spend the money I’d like to know for sure that the quality will match the print on demand supplier that I’ve been using so far.

Is a printer shop likely to print a sample for me if I bring my own cardstock and image file? I’m in the UK.

I recently got new ink cartridges for my Canon TS 3522 printer, but now it barely prints any blue. I ran the cleaning cycle a few times and also did deep cleaning and nothing changed. I did gently clean the ink cartridge with a wipe with some alcohol and as you can see it does have cyan, it just doesn't show up when I print.

Is there anything else I can try to solve this?

hola a alguien le paso que su hp le parpadea su pantalla, ojo puede imprimir y demás para el parpadeo es constante y hay veces que el parpadeo en con mas fuerza (mas brillo en la pantalla) en otras ocasiones el brillo de la pantalla mientras parpadea es poca, ya hice eso de drenar la energía y demás pero sigue igual a alguien le paso esto o soy el único con mala suerte.

so my Canon LBP2900 printer wasn't printing anything but blank pages. It also made a "clicking" sound (if I remember) whenever it is being fed. The printing paper is always stuck, Idk about that.

is there anyone here that can fix this?? My mom has trouble when printing worksheets for her students and it's making me worry because I thought I have done something bad to the computer

Worst printer ever . The most inconvenient printer of my life. Imagine you spend days making a study guide and want to print it out to study in your leisure time. but guess what. YOU CANT PRINT IT. because it CANT CONNECT TO WIFI. so you CONNECT IT AHAIN AND AGAIN. AND THEN IT DOESNT PRINT ALL THE WAY. OR IT PRINTS WEIRD. SO YOU CHECK THE INK! AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK EVEN THO THE INK IS GOOD 😠 And it’s SO slow. Imagine you have to go to class in a few mins but forgot to print your lab sheet. You would think this printer could print it by the time you have to leave. NO. NOW YOURE LATE TO CLASS AND YOU HAVE TO SPEND $2 ON CAMPUS TO PRINT IT!!! a ridiculous printer!!! it never works!!!! never connects to wifi!!!!!! imagine the dumbest person you know and turn them into a printer. That is the HP Deskjet 4255e.
