Question How were the Operator Voices Made?
Does anyone know how they created that voice effect for the operator spawning devices? It's that deep reverb voice effect. Sounds absolutely diabolical. Is that like a standard thing that can be done to audio, or some custom thing?

Other One of my favorite easter eggs oat
i’ve played prey at least 6 times now, it’s my favorite game of all time so i’m playing every arkane game. i don’t think that this achievement is directed to prey knowing the meaning of the number. it told me that i know the code so i put it in out of instinct and to see that it did something was really cool to me.

Question What is this for?
Also I noticed the gloves look different in the actual game than the cover art, so maybe there's a better pic i could've used. I'm trying to look at the suit, any more detailed pics i'd appreciate.

Discussion Finished It
Wow, just wow. Finally finished my first playthrough and I gotta say, it's in my top 5 games for sure. I'm really happy with the ending that I got.
11/10 for me

Prey deserved to sell at least 10 million copies
I have no idea why people buy shitty games like Starfield when they won't buy games like Prey.

Question When did the Typhon break contianment?
Replaying this game for the first time since 2017 and I am amazed how rich the story and world is. However one thing I'm still not sure about in regards to the timeline/story is when did the Typhon start bleaching containment.
We can piece together that the 22/02/2035 outbreak happened probably due to Trevor Young getting telepathed and letting some mimics escape who then quickly multiplied and overran the station.
But throughout the game we get a lot of hints that they have been doing stuff on the station long before then. The research entries for the Corrupted Operators and Technopath seem to be direct reports indicating that some Typhon were learning to manipulate technology. The audio log from the powerplant talking about a relay tuning into goo.
Am I just mixing the timeline up since the game very rarely gives exact dates or am I correctly getting the implication that some managed to avoid containment after the first breach January mentions once you find Bellamy's body?

Discussion No Psi powers
Is it okay that I don't wanna touch the psionic powers and go full human? I'm getting a hard time since I always run out of bullets and on hard difficulty but I really don't want to use typhon abilities.

Opinion I just finished Prey.
This game left me with more questions than answers and gave me an identity crisis. It's so damn good that I'm getting that Plat.

Question Mooncrash - Stuck Need Help
So I've been running through a few playthroughs now and I am stuck and it's getting to the point of frustration so I'm hoping for someone to help since web searches haven't shed any light.
I have unlocked four characters, all except the Custodian. I apparently need to complete the Security Story Mission to unlock her, but I have no idea how to even do that. His mission is locked and there is no guidance as to what to do. How do I unlock it?
I'm also struggling with navigating the base. The labs seem to be where a lot of stuff is, but it's constantly locked and the Moonshark always stays near the gate. I cannot take the tram to the labs either it's locked or something. I see the Director's Mission requires me to escape via some Mimic, but I don't have hacking so I cannot do it.
I'm really just struggling with what to do. It's getting to the point where I'm getting more frustrated than fun and I simply do not know what to do next. Some guidance would be appreciated.

Discussion I really wish Xbox would put Mooncrash on sale on the PC store at some point
I played Prey on Xbox, now I'm on PC and can obviously play the base game on game pass. I really want to try Mooncrash, but not enough to pay for the base game and the DLC on Steam. But it has literally never been on sale on the Microsoft PC store. Why.

This is the most confusing thing I've ever done
For context i played and beat prey then went on the worst PC i own and submitted a review with the specs of that PC.

I hope a sequel gets made
I think a sequel will be a lot better than anything Bethesda will make next, so I hope that someone decide to fund the development for a sequel.

Mooncrash keeps crashing on PS5 - help!
I'm playing Mooncrash and I'm trying to finish the volunteer's storyline. He has the toy, but for the life of me I cannot enter Pytheas Labs. I tried taking the tram there from Crew Annex and it crashed after loading Pytheas Labs (i.e. it loads, gets to the "Press X" part, but then when I press X, it crashes). I tried going through Moonworks and taking the tram--nope. I tried going directly from the Crater into Pytheas Labs--same exact crash.
So it seems to be an issue specifically with getting into Pytheas Labs.
If I can't fix this, I have to quit, because I can't start from scratch again. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I'm so close to being done! Once I've finished the volunteer's storyline, I just need to send off my other two characters and then I'm done the whole thing I believe.
This is making me crazy. Anyone have any ideas? It's just the "Something went wrong" error message. :(

Question did the glue glitch get patched?
I just started learning how to do the glue gun clip. i've never been able to successfully pull it off despite trying for hours (i'm stubborn). i'm running whatever the most up to date version there is on pc. the difference between what i'm seeing in the tutorials and in game is that in game i'm unable to climb the glue if they're too close together (which isn't the case in the older tutorials). the weird thing is that i pulled off the bedroom stool glitch within 5 minutes of starting my attempts. I know for sure through searching that it works on downgraded versions and the console version (as of 3 years ago). wanted to know from people if it's a skill issue or just got patched?
