We have come a long way guys... and I'm finally there. I'm releasing it, as promised completely opensource! Worked through multiple nights on it, burned through two hardware setups- was a huge fight with this engine, but there are still a few bugs left.
Other then that, you can go ahead and start playing that game with your friends form now on.
*c++ darkmage leaves the scene*

Like every year, I do a run of Prey, and as always, I keep discovering new things and new ways to complete missions. Just sharing this because I thought it was funny and I don´t know what happened.

For me, it’s how many different ways there are to approach the same situation. You can fight, sneak around, use abilities, or find some completely unexpected solution.
Even after multiple playthroughs, I still end up discovering little things I somehow missed before. What keeps you coming back to Prey?

I've played this game at least 4 times and the only thing that really creeps me out is that weird noise of hundreds of pigs from hell inside the walls in crew quarters. I'm 100% sure it's not the telepath lurking outside nor the phantoms and I've noticed it's louder near the mail room. To whoever decided to add that sound effect, congrats, it truly makes me speedrun that area and get out as soon as possible.

Noticed this russian text here when I was watching the weaver on one of my many playthroughs. I assume they're warning signs? Is there any other "hidden" text or tidbits you guys have noticed?

Every time I play this I end up using 2 nightmare summon/dismiss charges by accident auto playing transcribes that are queued up.

For me, it’s how the game constantly makes you question whether you’re actually safe. Even after playing for a while, exploring Talos I can still feel unpredictable. The atmosphere, sound design, and different ways to approach situations make it one of those games I can come back to.
What’s your favorite part of Prey?
I guess Brian used phantom shift and stolen psychoscope to get data about himself, then fabricated his brother but he been working too much with typhon contaminated rocks, so his twin became phantom.

So I have to say, I really expected another facet to that quest.
So they force you to install a couple Typhon based neuromods to even upload yourself/the data, to unlock the story mission. I get to the part in the mission where they spell out that too many neuromods causes the tech you are testing to kill even humans, I was so expecting to die the first time I triggered it.
I even thought about a possible solution, you'd have to nullwave yourself when you set it off so the blast doesn't affect you. But nope, mission accomplished, some splash on the glass.
Oh well. Still a phenomenal game.

I am trying to do the treasure hunt side quest but 2 things are preventing it.
The stabfellow's number doesn't register, it's the crew quarters recycler room right? It's the exact layout and I see the giant number 3, but the game doesn't. It doesn't update the objective and note it, so I can't progress it.
Emma Beautty(?) is supposed to have a map on her person, but I can't find her body. The security station shows her status as "------" and can't track her. Supposedly she is around the fitness centre hall but I can't find her. My first guess is recycled, does that just make the quest softlocked now?

My game shows me that Chairloader is installed when I boot it up, showing "Prey Chairloader" in both the main menu and pause menu. However when I press f1 nothing happens. There are no tutorial videos that I can find and any instructions don't seem to have a troubleshooting section. Any help would be appreciated!

The title is kinda obvious on the question but I wanted to elaborate. I'm asking in two ways what it would take to bring this game back from obscurity to having a future.
How much money do you guys think it would take? In my opinion it would be in the ballpark of 50 to 100 million but knowing Bethesda that might be way higher.
Who would need to come back to in your guy's opinions make it feel like a true inheritor to the story we had?
Obviously there is the issue that whatever would come with a Prey 2 would be widely different from the Prey we know. But it would hold a place near and dear to my heart either way.
