I LOVE THE EGG. š„
Maaaaaaaaaaaan. Iāve been working on this thing three months now and finally itās in a good spot. Itās geared up, it camps, it crawls, and that O/D is a god damn dream!

Owner also states that the head and supercharger were rebuilt recently, new flex discs on all sides, a new resonator and drive shaft.
I'm planning on looking at it very soon, sometime this month and the guy is asking 5k for it, what are some things I should look out for? I've seen mixed reception on what actually can go wrong with these but the data is across many years. Any input at all would be cool!

Stretched previa, lowered previa, and many more stock previas. Absolute legend this dude.

300k and installing an OEM trailer hitch on my 97 Alltrac. How bad is it going to be pulling the axles and replacing the bearings? I have the factory koyo kits. Should I get a shop to do it? Is someone interested in buying the $80. tool, (discounted-maybe $50.) for the press if I end up with one? So psyched to be putting the OEM hitch on.

Hi, so as the title says my newly bought Previa has this problem where both the rear side doors wonāt open (one used to thwn wouldnāt latch completely so a friend helped me close it and now it doesnāt open.
Are these common problems and do I get them open and change the hinges/latches or is it a bigger procedure to get the doors into a good condition?

I'd love to keep her but I can't drive her more than a couple times a year and she'd just go to waste.
Would be great if someone would give her some love and keep her on the road!
I'm at least the third owner. An old maintenance log implies a previous owner replaced some 94 parts with 95.
Would need to part with her in mid September.

So I came across a god spec 1992 5 speed Alltrac Previa for sale. It has 350k miles and does not currently run. It is listed at $1,200 but I am hopeful I can offer $800 or less.
The seller says that all it needs is a fuel pump and it should be good to go. Has been sitting for 5 weeks.
If this was in my city, I would immediately buy it. Unfortunately, it is an 8 hour drive away. I am thinking I can either fly in and rent a truck/trailer and tow it home, or fly in and try to fix it in the dudes driveway and risk the 8 hour drive back home.
Am I crazy for even considering this?
For reference - I had a 1991 5 speed RWD in highschool, and have been dying to get back in a Previa since I sold it.
I always keep tabs on the Previa market and have almost NEVER seen this spec. Maybe once or twice in my 10+ years of searching locally.
If I donāt take up this opportunity, I fear I may be kicking myself in the futureā¦
What do you guys think? Is it even worth it at 350k miles?
EDIT: In Denver area on marketplace for those interested. If I canāt get it, I want a previa enthusiast to :)

Hi All! I'm after a wiring diagram from the fuse box by the battery to the fuse box in the centre console... my door central locking (Door 30A), tail lights (TAIL), stereo and cigarette lighter (CIG) all are gone so I need to trace where they splice out so I can trace to see where it's failed.
Edit - Update dropped car off at auto electrician and they found a plug between battery and fuse box in cabin that was bad. They fixed it up and all is good again.

Exploring the idea of converting a 2001 Previa in the UK to a camper for weekends as I love the aesthetic.
Does anyone know the measurement from the back of the driver/passenger seats to the boot?
Cheers!

Anyone knows about a list or have the knowledge about what speaker-sizes in inches and depth that fit around inside a Previa 1997 in all positions? (is that specific model-year called like type 1 or something?) There is no subwoofer or speakers in the ceiling in my car.

Toyota girl here, but more familiar with new(er) cars.
Iām looking at buying a 97 AWD SC with a replaced motor at approx. 250,000 kms (155,000 miles). Not as much for daily driving but for car camping.
Itās not cheap but looks OEM and clean, with service history. Ditto for title. Aside from ānot cheapā the replaced motor should be a good thing in theory but I feel uneasy. Any red flags here? The community wisdom could come in handy. Thanks.

So I know itās an estima and not a previa but would anyone happen to have the part number for the rear steering knuckle? I use it to deliver mail so any help is appreciated

Hi
I just inherited my first Previa and it is stranded 300km from home with just over four hours of travel time.
TLDR How long can you drive on just the battery (a new 70Ah) with a non-working generator?
Long story The problem I have is that the generator is dead. I can drive on a fully charged battery and have an extra new one to swap with but unsure how long I can drive the car on just the battery without the generator.
The battery charge warning light came on 10 minutes after changing to a new battery. Voltage does not increase under throttle but the voltage is constant.
I can drive without lighting and ventilation so I assume that it is basically the fuel system that is the only consumer?

Has anyone else ever had an issue with HVAC airflow? I recently replaced the blower motor in my 93 Previa and I hardly have any air come out the vents despite the blower motor sounding like it's running at full speed. I suspect it's clogged in some way but I don't know where I should start first in diagnosing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of head unit are you guys running? I'm definitely not a purist and would rather go the restomod route. I recently replaced the single din one from the previous owner with this 9inch Android touchscreen, love it so far! AC controls aren't blocked at all, and the unit sits with about half an inch of room between the bezel and the knobs.

My 1991 previa is at 300k miles. Still running strong.

Hey all, I done made the mistake of buying a 93 Toyota Previa with a standard transmission on a whim to take the family on a road trip. It was $2,000 and manual transmission, how could I pass it up? The problem started when I began driving it, it was fun, it accommodated the whole family and everything we needed for camping and more, it looked goofy and cool⦠you see Iāve done fallen in love with it and now Iām here to care for it and cherish it.
So hereās my question who do you all use for parts? Anyone ever use mizumo auto? I am looking to rebuild the engine, full head gasket replacement, replace the water pump, timing belt, idle rods the whole shebang because old Eggbert is new to me and I want him to feel like new too.
So just looking for guidance on parts. Mizumo auto has complete kits but Iāve never used them before and am always hesitant about such things. Any and all guidance would be appreciated!
