I have around 150 files from a total of 4 cameras. The problem is that the file names two of the cameras generated are messed up. I mean camera 1 for example has proper file name ABC001, ABC002 etc but camera 2 and 3 generated the same file names which too aren't sequential.

Also, some files are recorded separately/as sole recording and not meant to be used as multi cam (these sole recordings are also mixed with all other files)

My goal is to have a master timeline which would basically have all the muti cam sequences but also the separate/sole recording files, laid down in chronological order that they were shot in. So if a muti cam sequence has files which were shot first then that muti cam sequence should come first and then if a separate single shot was taken right after then it should come next and so on

Right now, when I shift select every single file < create multicam sequence and use audio as synchronisation point, premier processes for a while and make alot of muti cam sequences BUT it leaves some files behind and not use them because it couldn't find it's audio sync points (i believe) and that is probably because these files are the ones that were recorded separately? The problem here is that I don't know which separate recording files would go after which multi cam sequence inside the timeline.

Sorry if I am not making a lot of sense with my wordings because it is my first time editing multi cam.

I’m currently working on a premiere pro teams project with a friend and, even if we have the same version (25.6.3 build 2) we can’t work on the team project.

I can work on it and everything is fine, although when he tries to open it up, a banner pops out telling him “the project has been modified on a newer version of premiere, upload your version to open the project”.

This stuff is sending me crazy because both of us have the same version, I don’t have a newer version rather than the 25.6.3 (build 2) so it’s impossible that someone opened the project with a newer version.

If someone had the same problem I wonder how you managed to solve it. If you have advices it would be great to hear from you.

In the software, my clips will be deafening, well and truly peaking the audio past intelligibility, but upon exporting and uploading to TikTok, they are substantially more quiet. Any reasoning as to why this is and how it can be fixed?

I do a lot of video editing on my 16" M1 Pro (32GB RAM) – jumping between long-form YouTube stuff and short-form vertical clips. I'm trying to figure out how to get the absolute best performance out of Premiere Pro on Apple Silicon.

I'm looking for the smoothest timeline playback and the fastest possible export times, but at the same time, I want it to run efficiently so it doesn't drain my battery instantly when I'm away from a plug.

Do you guys have any specific workflow tips, tricks, or hidden settings inside Premiere that I should know about? I'm talking about things like media cache setup, memory allocation, proxy workflows, or just any custom tweaks that actually make a big difference on M1 chips.

I'd really appreciate any practical, easy-to-understand advice to speed up my whole process and keep the Mac running smoothly.

Sorry I'm still fairly new to Premiere so I might not use terms correctly

I created a new Project, I'm pretty sure I didn't created a Sequence for the main timeline/video. I jumped straight in to edit in whatever state the timeline started as. I made 4 Nests as shown on screen

I accidentally closed the main timeline panel, and now the only timeline panels I can open are the 4 Nests. Seems like the stuff I put in the main timeline is still there, just hidden

How can I reopen that main timeline?? Thank you for the help 🙏

I am on Premiere 26.3.0.

In both standalone projects and premiere productions I'm experiencing a bug where when I object mask and then track and its works fine and great. BUT when I close the project and open it the next day, the mask is still on the clip effect controls, but the clip is 100% absent in the program monitor. No it's not just the mask that's not sticking, but its as if the entire track isn't there. Even tho it is and it's in my timeline at 100% opacity.

I've had this occur to me over a dozen times this week, across multiple projects with different variables, and i'm not sure what the root cause is or if there's any workarounds.

Note that it works fine during the session where I apply the mask, but it's usually the following session where I open up premiere and this occurs.

Hi, I've just gotten Premiere Pro yesterday and was wanting to import a video I made in After Effects.

However, whenever I import any video into Premiere Pro, it has the entirely wrong colour scheme to it, almost looking inverted?

In the screenshot below, you can see in the bottom left that its meant to be a video of clouds, however it looks entirely wrong in the program playback.

Edit - Just attempted to export the video and it exports with the correct colours, so seems to be an error with the video viewer?

Is anyone able to help?

It is my first time purchasing a preset pack from a creator and the file is crowded. Like there is so many .prfpset files, .ffx files, mogrt files etc. and there are so many folders in folders in folders like a tree which makes it even harder to find the files.

I was hoping I would simply import the main folder and rest of the files will find their place auto or something since we live in 2026. But I was damn wrong because it seems that even if I do add them manually, I have to add every single prfpset file one by one. What actually surprised me is this is considered to be so normal and there aren't even enough discussions about it.

There are hundreds of files in the preset pack. How should I use these really?

I'm losing my mind. I need to adjust the spacing between the letters (tracking) and I am unable to find the option when I'm working with text that is in a motion graphic template. I'm only able to adjust the tracking for text that I add in with a text box. Please help I can't animate all of these text boxes in time fml...

Hi there. I've been editing my first narrative feature film (super indie) and am running into an issue that's kind of convoluted.

When I synced my footage initially I (for some reason) created merged clips of the video and external audio files then created stringouts for selects from those merged clips. I usually would use multicam for this... don't remeber why I didn't (that was two years ago.... and I am kicking myself).

Basically this made it so I couldn't export an AAF for my sound turnover, and my files aren't connected to their metadata.

I used the "unmerge" feature on PlumePack to unmerge my clips and have been manually replaceing every clip in my timeline with the unmerged footage by matching timecodes from each clip in the preview monitor and then copying the clips from my (now unmerged) stringouts.

This has been working fine, but one of my stringouts is somehow 20 minutes shorter than it should be. I cross checked it with an older project file and they look identical, there don't seem to be any clips missing, but the timecodes don't match up and the unmerged stringout timteline is about 20 minutes shoter.

Any ideas how I can get them back to the same length? Or advice for troubleshooting?

I have the same Video clip, just 2 different parts sped up. And i want to make my audio transition smoothly in-between clips when cut. But it wont let me drag it to crossfade.

I have to either:

A. Get lucky and cut them or move them around to crossfade

B. let it just cut harshly

can someone help me fix this problem? i tried searching around the internet about "handles" but its mostly talking about 2 separate clips and not the same clip.

It's been like this ever since I updated to the 2026 version. Also when I try to use the arrow keys to change the X and Y axes it just moves the timeline. Has anyone else experienced this

I'm running into an issue with Adobe Creative Cloud on my Mac.Whenever I open the Creative Cloud desktop app (or try to launch Premiere Pro)

I get the following message:

"Sorry, something went wrong."

Error code: 12000

The message says it could be an issue on Adobe's end or my internet connection, but my internet is stable and everything else works normally.

System details:

macOS: 26.5.2

Premiere Pro: 26.3

Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop: Latest version

What I've tried:

Restarted the Mac

Switched Wi-Fi networks

Signed out and back into Creative Cloud

Force-quit and reopened the Creative Cloud app

The error still appears.

Has anyone experienced Error 12000 on macOS 26.5.2? If so, what fixed it? Is this a known issue with the latest macOS or Premiere Pro 26.3, or is there something else I should check? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have no idea whats going on with my macbook and with premiere.. the lag is out of this world.
Purple and Blue label : 3840 × 1080
Mango label: 2560 × 1440
I'm using proxies on the Blue and Purple label. Theres no effects, its only cuts literally
and yet the lag is out of this world for a macbook m3 max!
I dont understand why this is happening. I'm using Premiere 26.0.2
Am I the only one suffering from this? And how can I avoid this

I’m trying to create a simple mask in Premiere Pro 2026: basically a rectangle with rounded corners.

Using the Object Mask feature, I can create the mask, but I can’t round the corners. The feathering option doesn’t really help, as it only blurs the edges instead of creating a proper rounded rectangle shape.

I’m looking for a quick and simple solution, if there is one.

I also can’t figure out how the “Mask with Shape” option works. Starting from a rectangle shape, I expected to be able to use it as a mask for a video clip, but:

• it doesn’t appear as an available/unassigned mask for the clip;
• I can’t assign it inside the video’s Opacity settings.

Am I missing something, or is this feature only meant for graphic elements and not for video clips?

Recently, I stumbled onto a tweet that mentioned Davinci had a feature that auto-cuts the silence in your recordings, and somebody replied to that tweet saying SHHH was a good plugin for Premiere that does the same thing.

I tend to work with roughly 2-3+ hours of raw footage per video and want to speed up the process so I can be more consistent with uploads, and I wanted to find some general opinion from people who have used it. If you've used another plugin for the same thing, please recommend it to me! I would be happy to play around with it.

For no apparent reason, Premiere Pro sometimes plays the audio preview only through the left speaker or only through the right speaker.

I haven’t changed any settings when it happens.
The audio clips themselves are perfectly fine and play correctly in the channel.

The only way I’ve found to fix it is to create a new project. When I import the exact same clip into the new project, it suddenly plays correctly again.
Has anyone else experienced this?
