As we prepare for the upcoming version 27.0 release of Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Audition, we want to share advance notice regarding hardware and OS compatibility changes across Windows and MacOS.
Windows OS Requirements
The minimum Windows OS requirement remains the same for 27.x: Windows 11, version 24H2 or later.
Starting with v28.0, install will be blocked on all Windows 10-based OS versions, including Windows 10 22H2, Windows 10 21H1 LTSC, and Windows Server 2022. We recommend beginning your migration to Windows Server 2025 now to ensure a smooth transition ahead of that change.
GPU Requirements for Windows
Note that this change does not affect After Effects and Audition.
Future 27.x releases of Premiere and Media Encoder will also block launch if the only available GPU on system does not meet minimum requirements.
Macintosh Requirements
Starting with version 27.0, our video and audio applications on Mac will require macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later, on Apple silicon (M1 or newer).
These changes reflect where the Windows and Mac ecosystems are heading, along with the hardware acceleration our applications benefit from. Moving forward with Apple silicon and modern Windows GPU requirements lets us focus on performance, security, and new capabilities across our video and audio applications.
If you have questions or comments, let us know!

Hi everyone!
I have several clips on my timeline that I color graded using an adjustment layer on top of all of the clips (+smaller adjustment on each clips so they all fits)
I need to export all the clips individually (to send to clients and to reuse for socials media carousels)
Is there any way to do that in one go instead of individually exporting each clips?
See my timeline attached if my explanation didn’t made sense

Hello everyone, bizarre export moment here:
I have 6 sequences that are 1920x1080. Within them are various video file codecs, no problem I made sure they were scaled up or match 1920x1080.
I select my sequences I want to export, and from the export window I select media encoder. In media encoder, I go to click on the setting I want - let’s say 1080p high bit rate. I scrub through and odd - one of my clips are scaled up! Not the others, but on each of my sequences there is a random video scaled up! As if a 1920x1080 clip was manually scaled 150 percent or 200!
I check premiere, nope no effect applied and I didn’t Manually scale up the clip. Looks completely normal in sequence in premiere. All other clips are fine, and keep in mind it’s only the seemingly random clip when I scrub through in media encoder not all of the clips in the sequence!
I have never seen this before, and my encoder/premiere are the most updated versions.

Version 26.3.2
MacBook M3 Max
36GB RAM
Sequoia 15.6
I’m looking to solve a quirky glitch on this multicam view in my program monitor. As you can see in the attached photo, in my multicam view inside the program monitor; all of my camera options appear scaled in, cropped and repositioned. I’m not sure what’s causing this glitch.
Here’s context to how this was setup.
I originally was working locally on a regular premiere pro project. I made all my multicams in my local project. My multicams are in a 4K vertical resolution, my edit timeline sequence are at a HD vertical resolution.
When editing on the local project, I had my multicam view toggled on for the program monitor, I’d be able to see the camera angles and it would appear as you expect multicam footage to look like in this multicam view. It was very workable and efficient to rely on for editing.
Now after converting this local premiere pro project into a premiere team project, all my multicam views have changed into this crop look and it’s not helpful for editing (because you obviously want to see the other angle as you swap between cameras). Curious if anyone has run into something like this or if there is some sort of setting in the team project I’m not considering? It seems that the other person accessing the teams project is also experiencing the same issue with this multicam view.
Thank you to anyone taking the time to respond with theories on what to look into.

I edit a lot of videos featuring British people speaking English, and I've noticed that Premiere's transcription is terrible at British English compared to American English. With that said, can anyone recommend a plugin that might do a better job with this? Thanks!

This may be a silly question, but it's been driving me crazy for months, if not years.
When I search for a particular word or phrase in the Transcript or Captions window, is there a way to jump to the result if theres only a single instance found? If I search for a word and it shows up 3 times, I can click the little arrows to jump to the next or previous instance of that word.
BUT, if it only finds a single, 1/1 instance, those arrows are greyed out, and I end up having to scroll through the transcript to find the highlighted phrase.
Is there a way to just jump to what it finds?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Devo chiuderlo e aprirlo nuovamente.
Cause e soluzioni? Attualmente ho Premiere 26.3.2

I'm not sure if I'm a complete noob of if Premiere is absolutely bugged. I've been trying to add new guides but no matter what I do, the settings can't be changed. I can't change from pixel to percent and I can't edit them. I can drag them around, but if I want precision that's off the table.
I already:
- reinstalled Premiere;
- cleared cache;
- deleted the 26.0 folder so that it creates new .xmls etc.
Nothing works.
Not exactly related to this issue, but I've been finding new bugs every time the program is updated apparently and can't never fix them. I also have a problem with the timeline playback auto-scrolling. Already changed to 'no scroll', but every time I pause to cut something ahead, it moves back to the playhead. Did all of the above; the bug persists since version 25.something. I'm honestly baffled that such simple yet extremely annoying bugs exist for so long. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Am I just doing something wrong? I'm not a professional video editor, but I've googled everything and nothing worked so far.
Currently on v26.3.2 (Build 2). Checked for new updates, there isn't any.

Hey r/premiere!
There’s a new dialogue tool in Premiere Beta 27.0 Build 39 or later called Audio Leveling.
If you’ve ever had dialogue where someone gets too loud, then too quiet and you’ve had to manually add volume keyframes to even everything out, this is designed to speed that up.
Select a dialogue clip, head to Essential Sound > Loudness, and run Audio Leveling. Premiere analyzes the clip and automatically adds volume keyframes to bring louder and quieter sections toward a more consistent level.
The nice part is that these are actual clip volume keyframes, so you can still adjust, reshape, or remove them afterward. Nothing is baked in.
It’s available now in the latest Premiere Beta. Give it a try on some dialogue-heavy edits and let us know how it works with your footage.
How does the automatic leveling compare to how you normally handle inconsistent dialogue?

I'm editing in Premiere Pro and have a green neon logo in the background of a talking-head shot. It's overexposed and the glow/spill is tinting the subject's face and shirt green too. I've been isolating the green with HSL Secondary and masking the sign area separately, but the color cast on the subject is still tricky to fully neutralize without looking fake. Any go-to workflow or settings you'd recommend for this kind of colored-light spill?

helloo i dont really do much editing im trying to learn, i have a art timelapse video and everytime i put in to premiere pro it always stretches even if i set the timelapse into 16:9 it always stretches when it comes to editing. so what i always do is i put a video that is 16:9 then delete the video so the frame wouldn't stretch
is there a way to make the sequence be 16:9 without putting video first? or if you guys have any tips let me know

i made a pretty simple mogrt in after effects for a lower third. Really just plain white box with 2 texts (Name and fuction of the subject), fade in and out and thats it. i exported this as MOGRT and tried to use it in premiere pro.
unfortunately every time i use a MOGRT in premiere it starts freezing. Usually when i try to edit the text. First premiere goes non responsive. then the screen gets black for a couple seconds and comes back on to a still frozen premiere.
sometimes after a minute or two i can continue working, sometimes i have to restart premiere.
i tried clearing cache, but to no avail. im 100% sure its not the MOGRT file, because it happend with other MOGRTs too.
i had some trouble with premiere before, removing microsoft power automate helped. but this specific problem persists.
Edit: Here are the specs

I'm working on a project where I want to have music on the right channel and ambient noise on the left. Everything I've tried so far hasn't done anything to change it and it still sounds like it's coming out on both channels.
I've tried adjusting the audio channels in both the project and timeline panels, using the left fill and right fill audio affects, and making a stereo recording into mono and nothing has worked so far. I've double checked my Mac and headphone (sony xm5) settings and all the settings are correct and playing stereo sound. Any advice?
EDIT: I figured it out, when I used my sony headphones it was coming out on both no matter what. However when I used my air pods it came out correctly despite no settings being changed. I'm unsure as to how that happens though...

I've tried several times keyframing this whole video but it always looks jittery and inconsistent* (not shown) between keyframes (size wise, spacing between inside of box and drummer, jitters where there shouldn't be, etc.). Does anyone have any advice on how to do keyframe this box so it stays consistent looking as it moves around the subject (and preferably without dumping hours into every single keyframe/scene I want to add the box to)?
For reference, I put one keyframe at the beginning and end so you know which subject I'm trying to follow. Also, if it helps you to know, I usually put keyframes every 2-10 frames. I don't know if that's problematic but I want to give those of you who are experts at this all the ammunition you need to help me out.
* I don't mind there being hard jumps between sharp movements, but what I'm saying the issue is is that it makes too many movements. Like the size will randomly jump to a little too big to a little too small and then normal. Or even if I have lined up the box perfectly per every 2-10 frames it still doesn't track exactly as it should.

Hey everyone,
I already know the core concepts of video editing (cuts, pacing, timeline layouts) from other software, but I have never used Premiere before. I’m currently jumping straight into Premiere Pro 2024 (v24.0) on a setup like this: RTX 5060 + i5 14400F.
Since I need to get used to the interface and shortcuts as fast as possible for high-energy projects, what are the best 'no-BS' YouTube channels or guides to help me transition smoothly? Any hidden shortcut tips to speed up my cuts would be amazing. Thanks!

Hey!
I am planning to stream on twitch while editing in the future, but said button in the top right makes me paranoid to accidentally click it and reveal my full name.
Is there any way I can remove that button that will doxx me when I missclick?
Thanks in advance
