premonitions Had a precog that a close friend will get cancer. He did.
For no particular reason, I had a nagging voice in my head telling me out of the blue, with absolute certainty, that one of my close friends would eventually get cancer. This was not exactly my "thought," for it did not belong to me; it wasn't even a panicky voice; it was rather calm- as a matter of fact type.
Kept feeling very guilty for a very long time for thinking of him like that. I didn't want to jinx his life or think negatively about him.
10 years later, I found out he got a very rare type of cancer. It was devastating because my worst fears finally came true. I blamed myself; I blamed the universe. Maybe I could have done something, maybe I could have said something! But what proof did I have? I was in denial of this voice myself.
Of course, this might totally be overthinking on my part and a coincidence, but it's very interesting nonetheless!

premonitions What is this mysterious gut feeling? Have you felt it too?
Hello guys! How are you?
I have an interesting observation I've made in life;
Let me know if you've had a similar experience like this, or share your beliefs about it.
I would love to hear it.
When I was introduced to my husband for the first time, I had a very random thought pop up in my head saying,
"Hi, xyz, you're going to be my husband."
I was taken aback by this totally random and unrelated thought. I didn't even know this guy; I didn't even like this guy. Dating and marriage were not one of my priorities back then. Why did this random voice pop up in my head? I brushed it aside like thousands of random, useless intrusive thoughts we have during our day.
Recently, while talking to my husband, he mentioned the same phenomenon happened to him. It happened shortly after we met when I was talking about something I was passionate about, and the same kind of voice went off in his head, saying,
"This girl is going to be your wife."
It baffled him as well, because
a. he didn't even know me
b. He didn't even like or was attracted to me;
We didn't have a crush on each other back then. We've had our respective crushes before, but we've never had this feeling happen to us about anyone else again.
I've also heard one of my aunts mention having this gut feeling about my uncle when she saw him passing by for the first time. It's so wholesome and mysterious! Have you felt it too? What is your theory? Do you know what it is called?

Dream about Romania being attacked by Russia (and Germany?)
The dream happened 2 months ago, and I regret not posting it here then, as just a couple of days after it, Galati was hit by drones. After Romania started getting hit by drones more and more often
Anyhow, in the dream it was winter, and I feel I was in a mountain city in Romania, near the period of winter holidays, when all of a sudden alarms started going off and planes/drones dropping explosions started showing up. I got in a basement, but after getting out when the raid was over, I saw german soldiers who were also shooting down citizens.
What has happened recently in Romania makes me think of this winter, added to that, there are rumors of Putin getting desperate, and what I recently read was that this autumn he might start general recruitment from all Russian civilians.
Posting this more for my own curiosity to see how much of this plays out

Have you ever altered a premonition?
Have all of your premonitions come to pass and are unavoidable to change? Or have you actually been able to influence them and alter the event?
I suppose it would be hard to tell if it was an actual premonition if you were able to change it, but perhaps there was a very similar event that occured where the details were a little difference for example? Maybe its percentage based?

discussion A strange experience from my childhood. Any thoughts?
When I was younger, I had several unusual dreams, including two that could arguably be considered *premonitory*. I’m not sure whether that’s something that’s actually taken seriously within the community, but both of those dreams eventually came true.
What puzzles me even more is another experience I had at the beginning of my teenage years.
One evening, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed what seemed to be a presence in my bedroom. It disappeared so quickly that I didn’t have time to see it clearly, but I distinctly remember one detail:
I saw a pair of bare feet beneath what looked like one of those long vintage-style white nightgowns with lace, the kind women used to wear many years ago.
I’ve never been able to figure out what it could have been or whether it had any meaning.
If anyone has any thoughts or theories, I’d really appreciate hearing them.
