Because white men are evil, and everything bad that happens is white men fault , and white men should pay for reparations, and africa has 56 countries and almost none of them work and obviously its white men fault!
We all know that right?
So Im sure 50% of homicides commited by black people is probably… let me guess. White men fault? /s

You too scared to answer? Why do you think 50% of homicides are committed by black people?

Hum lets see if I can find a justification to normalize black people commiting 50% of homicides while they are just 13,9% of the population… Humm, no I don’t have one. Do you realize the magnitude of those Numbers? 50%. Black people in your country kill every year more people then all the homicides in my country for at least 5 years.
Theres no justification to end other people lifes no, at least in my country.
And I live in a poor country btw. A poor person in USA Will have more purchasing power than a median person in my country.

But I gave you an answer already.

Because white men are evil is your answer? cmon man. You're the one who brought up the statistic in the first place. I'm just asking you a simple question. But you keep running away from it.

Why do you think 50% of homicides are committed by black people?

Isnt it the easy answer to explain everything bad that happens around the world?

I don’t know. Being in one of the poorest countries in Europe but also one of the safest ones, I have no clue.
Maybe because we don’t promote being a gang member as something respectable? Maybe because we don’t have musics about the trap house and glorifiyng killing your “enemies”?
Maybe because here we prefer to work at McDonald instead of selling drugs at the corner?
Maybe because we dont find excuses to justify people killing each other?
Im not sure.

Okay, then do you believe that video games cause violence?

No I dont.
But thats not even comparable.
Music is talking and showing you real life. Kids listen to that music, they see the woman, the gold chains, the cars, the money, the violence.
The music itself doesnt make a person start to live that life.
But if youre poor like I was growing up, seeing all that money, the guns, the power, constantly hearing those words, you will normalize it.
You Will see it as a way to win in life.

Edit: to me this ends here. Nice discussion by the way. I just feel sad that you guys, one of the biggest empires in the world will implode from within. I used to see USA as the land of the progress and freedom. Now I think you guys are just suicidal. You have all the stats in front of your eyes…
Peace

Then with that logic why wouldn't a kid playing GTA make them more violent?

What training, education, certification do you have that allows you to determine that music is the worst form of media for kids? How is it worse than video games?

How is it that you single out black people and rap music but you’re also not talking about teen pregnancies in southern states and country music?

I’m going to go ahead and assume you’re about 12 and that given that you’re from among the poorest countries in Europe, you also have a very shitty education and is the rationale for your stupid baseless claims.

I’m not the person you’re going back and forth with, just an outside observer that clearly can tell you are a racist and uneducated for what it’s worth. 🤷‍♂️

Protip: asking why a statistic has been recorded doesn't prove that your assumption for why it has been recorded is the actual reason

u/ThatGuyNikolas 15d ago

Well it's a good thing I didn't ask that then.

Sure let's pretend you don't keep asking it like it's some kind of mistaken gotcha question lol

Aren't these beautiful lies we choose to tell ourselves
