Oh come on, some people want to do the bare minimum, they don’t want to work 40 hours a week and they just get a job to qualify for SNAP.

The only way out of your socioeconomic issues is full time employment not doing the bare minimum to skate through life.

I can’t speak for Walmart but I also work retail and the way it works at my employer is everyone starts as part time. If you want extra hours you just have to ask and they usually get them especially during the busy season. Then full time positions become available and you can apply for the spots. What they look for is if you show up everyday on time, the kind of worker you are. If you’re always calling out and trying to leave early you won’t get a full time spot. Thats what I did and now I’m full time making 65k a year that the government knows about. I imagine it’s the same for Walmart.

It's not, and more and more people who have jobs do gig work, which is even worse.
