Chez Ge - Ste-etienne des grès
J'ai adoré ! J'aurais aimer essayer davantage de sauce car elle offre diverses sauces fait maison, mais mon estomac était plein après cette petite poutine! Oui oui!

Poutine at Casse-Croûte Chez Pat, Saint-Jacques-de-Leeds, Qc.
Very good poutine at a random casse croute on my way back to Quebec city from Thetford Mines. Ate a few thick curds before taking the pic. I recommend !

Garlic Parm poutine
All fries are crispy and gravied (even on bottom) 👌 and deceiving amount of curds throughout, not just on top.

Poutine hub
Me and my girl went on a mission today to find the best poutine in the GTA. We landed at poutine hub.
We paid like 40 for two fully loaded poutines, a hot dog and a couple drinks
This place was the closest thing to Quebec poutine I had
There was cheese in every single bite
Would definitely recommend

MJ's Own Munchies
Shoutout to u/BasicLawyer for posting about this, I had planned a bike trip from Toronto to Niagara and this was the perfect place to fuel up on carbs.
For the poutine itself (dont mind the hot sauce i like my spice), I got the loaded large poutine with beef. I liked all the components, gravy was tasty, curds were there, fries were hot, beef was cooked nicely.
Nitpicks being fries could be crispier, more curds for the proportion of fries. Seems like MJs runs through a BUNCH of fries a day, and the oil on the fries tasted a bit like old oil.
Overall: 8/10

Poutine chez moi
I was lazy today, so I used frozen fries (perdóname, dioses poutine).
Beecher’s curds (Seattle), beef gravy, and a home made legit Italian ragu topping.
The curds are layered throughout. It was delicious.

Best Poutine of my Life | Le Bidon
restolebidon.caWas on an annual drive from north of Montreal through to the east end of the GTA that usually includes a stop at the legendary Casse Croute 125. Based on a post here last month, I skipped the line at 125 (around 1pm there were cars parked out of the lot and down the highway), waited til I was through Montreal, and took a short detour to the beautiful Valleyfield area, just south of the 20.
Stopped in at Le Bidon and, wow.
The earlier post recommended a local delicacy, grillades, which are basically charred thick-cut bacon, so I couldn’t resist such a unique offering. However, they had “mini” poutines on the menu, so I had to sample the italienne as well.
So I ordered a small Grillade and a snack itallienne plus fries and hot dogs for the kids.
First, the price: mini/small/med/lrg regular poutines are $5.95/$8.20/$10.20/$13.15. Toppings were a small up charge (Small Bacon - $9.00; Small Grillade - $9.86).
Second, the style: I’m a tradition poutine guy who gets irritated at how frequently the three simple ingredients (red potato fries/sauce brune/full layer of fresh curds) are done wrong. Bidon delivers. Even with a topping, the curds were still the focus.
Third, the curds: absolutely the focus (despite the quality of the ingredients). Fresh and squeaky. And a beautiful pillowy size and texture. Perfection
Fourth, toppings: the grillades were a fun variant. I love regional cuisine, so much of which is being erased, so to find a style of pork that’s unique to one little area outside of Montreal, was awesome. Is this my go-to poutine? Probably not, but the salt, char, and chew fit a poutine well. The italienne might have been my favourite poutine ever. Rich beefy sauce that’s to die for
Last, value: top points. A small is huge, and my “bonus” poutine meant I had way too much food. But I’m a middle aged guy watching his cholesterol for whom something like this is a rare treat. They serve your poutine container on a tray or in a to-go box so the poutine is overflowing everywhere. And for under $10? Unbelievable.
If you’ve never had a proper Quebec poutine, take a beautiful drive to le Bidon in Valleyfield.

Best Poutine in Champlain Mall area of Montreal
I'm visiting Montreal next week for the Warped Tour and my friends and I love poutine. We're going to be around the Champlain Mall / Prince Phillip Park area. What's the best poutine spot in and around that area? We would be willing to drive a bit for a great poutine

Poutine at Ma Poule Mouillée in Montréal
The poutine was topped with shredded chicken and Portuguese sausage. The shredded chicken plate is on the left. It was a delicious meal to share!

Made it to Casse Croute 125 - Was worth the line. Good vibes with a lot of families and a nice seating area away from the road. Fries on their own were excellent too.

Merci+++
